⭐️ VOLUNTEER HEROS ⭐️

Flintshire Local Voluntary Council held a Volunteer Awards celebration at New Brighton Community Centre recently.

Held during Volunteers’ Week, the event celebrated the incredible achievements and contributions of Flintshire volunteers.

The awards evening was a truly inspiring celebration of the remarkable individuals who give their time, skills and compassion to make a difference to Flintshire communities.

The event recognised outstanding achievements, dedication and kindness, while sharing stories that highlighted the incredible impact volunteers have on the lives of others.

We are delighted that we were recognised as a volunteer team 🏆 this is not about football, this is about the hours and hours our volunteers behind the scenes, constantly put in to make a different to not only our club, but to our local community and beyond. To many to name with our amazing volunteer committee, parents and supporter’s ⭐️

Two of our trustees Bob (Chairman) & Daniel (Director of Football) collected the award on behalf of all the club.

We would like to Pass on our appreciation to all involved at Northop Hall Girls & Ladies FC

Football comes second when incidents happen, and having the right Medical support onsite with St John Ambulance has made a huge impact.

Our appreciation also goes to all teams involved and volunteer’s supporting and assisting our ladies along with our amazing coaches whose reactions have impacted significantly.

The family of our player wishes to pass their gratitude to all involved, and we all wish for a speedy recovery 💖

The Aftercare and service Northop have shown is testament from an incredible supportive club and bring clubs closer together.

Football Tournament:

An amazing tournament held, played in a fair way throughout. Brilliant to see so many teams and girls loving the game and enjoying time together.

🏆 U14’s were unfortunate in the Semi final being defeated on penalties. Heartbreaking way to finish a game!

🏆 U11 Hearts had a fantastic tournament and were crowned Conference Cup Champions playing some fantastic football throughout.

🏆 U11 Diamonds won the U11 Champions Cup Trophy
🏆 U11 Diamonds lost on Penalties in the U12 Campions Cup Final

Diamonds playing 16 games in two tournaments & not conceding a goal all day. Incredible levels ⚽️

Another great day for the park teams.

Our U14’s played at Brymbo Lodge Football Club Tournament which is a great local tournament and always ran well by a good club.

A special mention to Brymbo after tragic news recently.

The 14’s played some great football and were runners up playing a year up 👏🏆

Our Ladies had a short trip to the Cheshire tournament, and played brilliant throughout reaching the final without losing a game, but were unlucky to not get over the finishing line. 🏆

A testament how far they have come and continually push themselves with a growing support of younger females from the club supporting.

Well done both teams - Excellent standards on and off the pitch.

Well done to our U11 Diamonds playing in an U12 tournament and coming away victorious in the Champions Cup.

A tough tournament against some creditable teams, but after winning the final in a close contest vs Irlam, it was great sportsmanship giving the girls a guard of hounour to receive their trophy!

Brilliant from our U14’s.
A last minute call as a team had dropped out and our U14’s went and scrambled the squad together…. Competed and came home with a trophy 🏆

Incredible commitment from the coaches and girls with hours notice. 👏

🏏⚽ HAWARDEN PARK FAMILY FUN DAY ⚽🏏

📅 Sunday 28th June | From 1pm

Join us for an afternoon packed with fun for all ages, including cricket challenges, football games, sports cars with RSV Automotive an inflatable assault course, face painting, live music, BBQ, bar and much more! 🎉

Most importantly, all funds raised on the day will go towards our ambitious “Field of Dreams” project, helping to fund the construction of a new 2nd Cricket Pitch and new Football Pitch in the Big Field. 💙

This is a huge project for the future of Hawarden Park and the wider community, and every bit of support makes a difference.

🇳🇱Holland Tour 🇳🇱

Day Four & Five of our Holland tour seen the U11’s fly back.. still singing football songs on the plane ✈️

The U14’s had another day of relaxing by the pool and fun, before a friendly with Voetbalvereniging DESK which they’ve made friends with over the years and stay in touch, amazing support from each other. Another great Performance and result before flying home today!

A special trip with so many memories! Including two Champions of Holland Trophies and several pennants and memorabilia 😃
