🏉 P6 Match Report by Coach Wayne 🏉

🟦 Saturday saw the first away day trip for the P6 squad, travelling down to play Ballymena at Eaton Park.
A challenging place any week to go, but with over 10 players missing it was a great test for all involved.

⬛️ Coleraine started strongly playing against a well drilled and coached Ballymena team making for a true test of Skill and grit for the P6 squad. Susanna made her debut appearance and put in a tremendous morning shift on the pitch carrying the ball superbly and making some vital tackles in defence.
In attack Jack Mc had great day, no more so on a majestic weaving run to the try leaving bamboozled defenders as he made his way to the try line!
Liam is highlighted too for an all action performance in both attack and defence being a focal point in the middle of the pitch for his team to rally behind.

⬜️ On a day when so many players were missing it was impressive to the heart to see the sheer determination put in by all those who played.

👏 POTM goes this week to Jack K.
He was terrier like in defence racing all over the pitch making countless tackles and leading from the front for his team. In attack he carries the ball wonderfully with his jerky running style. His biggest positive is his selfless work which was around the attacking ruck protecting ball for his squad.
His effort and improvement seen at training and then transferring over to match day is great to see!

🏉 Thanks again to our Mini Rugby section sponsor Macaulay Wray Solicitors and Lynas Coleraine.

🚗 Match report sponsor this week is Blair Driving School, thank you for your support.
