🥋 ZANSHIN ON TOUR 🥋

Sensei Duane has had a busy few days after finishing a week of work he headed to Dublin to compete in the Irish Open and has now just landed in Liverpool to attend a week of training at the Red Triangle Dojo, with Sensei Jim Brennan 8th Dan and Sensei Frank Brennan 8th Dan, in preparation for his upcoming 4th Dan grading in October!

WELCOME BACK 🥋

We are excited to get back to the Dojo this week. All classes recommence this evening and we have a full term 1 schedule to start working towards!

We are looking forward to seeing our existing students and all of the new faces who have registered to try out our classes in the next few weeks!

The summer break is nearly over, which means it’s time to get back in the dojo! 💪

Our Zanshin Shotokan Karate Club classes are reopening across the Causeway Coast and Glens and Mid Ulster areas, and we can’t wait to see our existing members back, and welcome lots of new faces too! 🥋❤️

Congratulations to all of our students who took part in Friday nights grading with Sensei Brennan in Kilrea.
After a hard week of training we were delighted to see so many smiley faces, just showing that hard work pays off 😃

Loyal Member Award 🥋

On Saturday, 25th July 2026 - Zanshin NI was proud to present Ryan Higgins with his Loyal Member Award for 10 years.

Ryan started training with Zanshin at aged 9 and we value his support to the club and his training.

Congratulations to Zanshins newest Shodan - Cara Calvert.

Cara (9) has trained with us for over 4 years and obtained her 1st Dan today under the watchful eyes of Sensei Frank Brennan 8th Dan KUGB after a long week of training!

ZANSHIN NI SUMMER COURSE 🥋

Day 4 is now complete with everyone putting in 100% as usual!
Sensei Brennan arrives tomorrow and we will be presenting everyone who attended the whole course with trophies 🏆
Make sure you arrive shortly before 6pm ahead of the pre grading class.
