It is an intense focus on muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance that is experienced with fabulous music, creating a vibe that is sure to shake up High Street. Founder, Lisa Greer, is an American who began her indoor c

ycling journey after the birth of her second child, eager to reclaim her fitness. Lisa went to an indoor cycling class and after three classes she was hooked. Three weeks later she knew this was what she was meant to do, and has been perfecting her method of teaching ever since. Lisa’s style combines her love of music and dancing with indoor cycling, to deliver an intense full-body experience that is all about getting stronger and having fun along the way. In 2011 her family moved to Esher for her British husband’s job, and she is excited to bring Ride! to the Surrey community.

“When we moved to the U.K., I had a very difficult time finding indoor cycling classes that were similar in style and intensity to what I taught back in the States. I began offering classes through word-of-mouth and the demand exploded. I quickly realized I could fill this gap and have been developing the Ride! concept ever since,” Lisa shared. “I am passionate about this exercise format and providing a supportive and motivational environment where men and women have fun achieving and exceeding their fitness goals. The Ride! experience is all about working hard, playing hard and sweating hard. That kind of physical exertion creates an endorphin rush that quickly becomes addictive.”

Indoor cycling is a very productive, low-impact cardiovascular exercise. Lisa’s Ride! method adds upper body resistance training, resulting in a full-body workout that is balanced and powerful. Her upbeat music playlists will have you dancing in the bike saddle as you awaken and target muscles throughout your body. Unlike the “big-box” gyms, Ride! isn’t trying to be everything to everyone. It is the only purpose-built indoor cycling studio in the area and appeals to men, women and teens alike. client is interested in efficiency, results and being pushed to be their very best. The studio will offer a wide range of cycling classes, including theme / social rides, endurance rides (2+ hours), and classes for teens only and beginners. method will appeal to runners seeking to cross train, outdoor cyclists wanting to train without the elements, the cardio ju**ie in search of the next great thing, and all those needing motivation to jumpstart their fitness.

Tomorrow morning we close this chapter of our story, Riders. will be on the lead bike for a 60 minute sweat sesh at 8:30 and will be rocking back to back strength classes with Sweat & Tone at 8:30 and Barbell body blast at 9:45. It is with a heavy heart (and more than a few tears) that we have taken the difficult decision to close our studio for good at the end of June this year.

Ride! has always been so much more than a business for us - it was about the love of the fitness game. The vision and mission for the studio never swerved from its inception: To empower the community at large to feel strong, sweat it out and have fun doing it. To that end, we’ve been honoured to build an incredible community over the last 9+ years, bringing people together and creating long-standing friendships that otherwise would have remained undiscovered.

As it turns out, we are no match for the post-covid landscape and the challenges that the past 2 years has brought. Make no mistake, Riders…. We fought hard to avoid this exact result by continually investing in and upgrading the studio, being present DAY 1 of the first lockdown online, adapting our entire offering to the restrictions brought on by the pandemic and keeping our pricing fair and accessible to the community… for the community. These choices were made from love and we’d make them all over again to look after our people.

You’ve got until the end of June to get through your class packs and we hope to see everyone at the studio over the next 7 weeks… From the entire Team : Thanks for making us a part of your weekly routines and for entrusting your fitness and health to us. 🙏🏼🥺🙌🏽💛.
