⚽️ Some night under the lights! ⚽️

Big pitch, big performance!

Man to man, everyone put in a class shift.

Liam Hendley even completed 10k on his tracker ⌚️

The fridge put us in control not long before half time.. Jake Brock delivered an in swinging corner, delicate headed flick on by Josh Burrow, landed at the feet on Dan Howitt. Dan put it away, with a typical defenders finish… A dribble of his shin. ‘ Can you glamorise my goal a bit in the write up’ Sorry Fridge.

Jay Jay Cutts nearly added a second before half time, however the Teversal keeper got down well to make a good save.

Half time 0-1.

It was time for fresh legs to enter! Two subs linked up for our second of the day. Matt Bower has an unusual way of playing football. If you’ve seen him play for us, you know what we mean…

Bower beat the home keeper in an aerial collision, ball laid into the path of Neo batty, Who flicked the ball over the keeper and into the bottom corner. ‘Batty boi’ 0-2.

3 pre season games, 3 clean sheets. Dutchy said he’s getting his deck chair out next time.

Convincing victory ✅

Clean sheet ✅

Decent set up at holmewood🍺 Few Nelson Mandelas post match from both teams ☀️

Jay Jay Cutts bagging a hat trick, some say it’s the worst hat trick they’ve ever seen ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Matt Bower with his usual 13 chances and one goal ⚽️

Charlie Bingham with a debut goal ⚽️

⚽️ POST SEASON REVIEW ⚽️

Before we begin, A massive thank you to all our players for the season we’ve had. A big thanks to all our supporters turning up all season. Rain, wind, or sun, you knew the ultras would be there in fine voice!

The season before saw us finish in 3rd place in Divsion 5 and reach the Chatsworth cup final. We knew we needed to up our game for division 4, and we certainly did!

We finished the season with the best goal difference throughout the whole six divisions, which is a testament to the season we’ve had.

Endless amount of goals scored, very few conceded. Micky Mcaneny had his deck chair out during some games.

22 league games.
21 Victories
1 Loss.

Gained local bragging rights over Wingfield White Hart with two victories.

Yet another cup final at Staveley, but this time it was the Chatsworth Cup. Unfortunately our bad luck at Staveley continued as we lost the final on penalties. 3rd time lucky next season?

We will finish the season in style at The Britannia - Tupton next Saturday (Presentation day)🏆 Everyone is welcome!
