🐴 THE 60-SECOND RIDER RESET

Before you get on, don't immediately try to convince yourself 👇🏼👇🏼

“I'm fine. I'm not scared. Nothing is going to happen.”

Instead, pause 🖐🏼🖐🏼

Put both feet firmly on the ground

Take a slow breath out....making the exhale longer than the inhale.

Then look around you and deliberately notice:

5️⃣ things you can see.
4️⃣ things you can physically feel.
3️⃣ things you can hear.
Then tell yourself:

“I'm here 👋🏼👋🏼

✅️ I'm safe in this moment.
✅️ I don't have to prove anything today.
✅️ I can take this one step at a time.”

Then ask yourself:

✅️ “What's the smallest thing I could do today that would feel manageable?”
✅️ Maybe it's grooming.
✅️ Maybe it's leading.
✅️ Maybe it's standing beside the mounting block.
✅️ Maybe it's getting on and walking for five minutes.

That counts 💯

Because confidence isn't built by repeatedly throwing yourself into the thing you're terrified of.

It's built through small, manageable experiences that teach your brain and body:

“I can do this.” 💪🏼💪🏼
And then…

“I did it again.” 💪🏼💪🏼
And again.
And again.

Until eventually the thing that once felt terrifying starts feeling familiar.

❤️ You don't need to become the old fearless version of yourself.

You can build a new kind of confidence one based on trust, understanding and knowing how to support yourself when the nerves show up.

If you've lost your confidence after a fall, you're exactly who I created Rider Reset for.

FEAR HOLDING YOU BACK FROM GETTING BACK IN THE SADDLE?

You’re not alone.

I'm guessing you used to ride without even thinking about it right ??? 🤷‍♀️🤔

Hacking out alone.....yep???
Jumping...absolutley 🤪🤪
Going fast....💯🖐🏼
Trying new things....ALL THE TIME 😅👍🏻

❌️ Then you had a fall…… and suddenly everything feels different.

✅️ You still love horses.
✅️ You still want to ride.

📣📣📣But now there’s that really LOUD voice saying:

🤦‍♀️ “What if I fall again?”
🤦‍♀️ “What if I can’t do it anymore?”
🤦‍♀️ “What if I’m never the rider I used to be?”

And honestly? 👇🏼👇🏼

You don't need to force yourself to “just get over it.”

Confidence doesn't come back because someone tells you to put your big girl pants on and be brave!!!

It comes back through small wins, rebuilding trust and proving to yourself that you CAN feel safe in the saddle again. ❤️

I know this because I've been there too.
And that's exactly why I created Rider Reset... to help women riders who have lost their confidence after a fall find their way back to enjoying riding again.

🐴 Want to start rebuilding and actually ENJOY RIDING again?

Sometimes you just need to take your foot off the gas....... its been foot to the floor for weeks 🤯 🤯🤯

SO...this weeks a quieter week over here at Rider Reset.

And honestly? I needed it 💯💥

There’s so much pressure to constantly be creating, posting, growing, achieving…....

BUT sometimes the best thing you can do is step back for a minute and breathe ☺️☺️

Especially when you’re rebuilding 💪🏼💪🏼

❌️ You don’t have to ride the way you used to.
❌️ And you definitely don’t have to prove anything to anyone.

👣 Small steps still count.
🤫 Quiet days still count.
😴 Rest still counts.

So if you’ve had a week where you haven’t felt like yourself, or your confidence has taken a wobble…🫨🫨🫨

You’re not behind. ❤️

You’re just taking the time you need. And when you’re ready, you can take the next small step.

That’s what Rider Reset is all about. 🐴✨

FREEDOM in a nutshell......theres nothing quite like clearing your mind and getting rid of any cobwebs then riding in an open field !! 🕸🕸

There’s something about riding across an open field that makes you realise just how much freedom you’ve missed. 🐴🌿

But when you’ve lost your confidence, that same open field can feel VERY different.

The space feels huge 🙄
There’s nowhere to hide 🤦‍♀️
Your horse might feel a little more forward 😅

And suddenly your brain is shouting 🤯🤯🤯

“What if something happens?”
“What if I can’t stop?”
“What if I fall off again?”

So you keep yourself small 🤏🏼

🛑 You stick to the arena.
🛑 You avoid the open spaces.
🛑 You tell yourself you’ll do it when you’re “more confident”.

But here’s the thing right....

Confidence doesn’t usually come before you do the thing.

It comes from doing little things that prove to your brain 🤯🤯

“Look. I can handle this.” 🥳🥳

✅️ Maybe today that means riding to the edge of the field.

✅️ Maybe it means walking around it.

✅️ Maybe it means sitting on your horse and taking a breath while you look at the view ( me right there taking in the view)

And maybe one day…

You’ll realise you’re riding across that open field again, breathing in the fresh air, your horse underneath you, and thinking

“I’m actually enjoying this again.” ❤️

You don't have to become the fearless rider you used to be.

You just need to start finding your way back to YOU.

That's what Rider Reset is all about. 🐴💗

6am No makeup. Hay in my hair. And this one thinks it's appropriate to headbutt me before I've even had coffee 😂

This is the bit nobody puts on the confidence calender 📆.

It's not all breakthroughs and big wins half the time it's just turning up its getting a bit chilly again now as well, giving zero f*%ks 🖕🏼🖕🏼 about how you look, because you love this daft animal more than you love your lie in.

🚫 No fear here. No overthinking. Just me, her, and a personal space violation before 7am 🤣🤣

Some days confidence isn't about pushing through anything. It's just this. Showing up because you want to be here. Even at silly o'clock. Even half asleep.

That's the job. That's the love. That's the fire inside 🔥

12/08/2026

Honestly, sometimes getting your confidence back looks less like “YESSS, LET’S GO!”…

…and more like this face 😂👀

After a fall, you don’t need to force yourself back to where you were.

1️⃣ Groom them.
2️⃣ Tack up.
3️⃣ Sit at the mounting block.
4️⃣ Walk one lap of the arena

It all counts.

That’s how we build it back. 🐴❤️

Trying to rebuild your confidence one calm ride at a time…

meanwhile your horse has other plans 🤦‍♀️😂

Small wins still count though right ??

06/08/2026

"It's too windy." "He's probably feeling fresh." "I'll go tomorrow instead." 🙈🤦‍♀️😬

Here's the thing though the excuse isn't the problem. It's just fear wearing a very convincing disguise.

You don't have to feel brave to go out there. You just have to take one small step. That's it 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

So tell me... what's your go to excuse?

Let me know below 👇 (mine was always "the arena's too muddy" 😅 🤦‍♀️🙄

MYTH BUSTER today? 🐴

❌ NOT every RIDER who's lost their balls is dealing with straight up "FEAR."

That word gets used far too often, BUT HONESTLY? It doesn't even cover half of it.....

Sometimes it's GUILT that SH*&TTY little voice in your head telling you that you "SHOULD" be over it by now ⚠ ⚠ (SPOILER 👉🏼 there's no timeline, and that voice is lying to you)....

Sometimes it's your body clocking off before your head even has a say OHHH HELLLOOOOO, shaky legs at the mounting block 🙄🙄

Sometimes it's trust in your horse that's taken the hit, even when you know deep down it wasn't really their fault…..right??

And sometimes... it's none of the above. It's just not having a BLOODY clue where to even START again 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Whichever one is yours, I want you to know it's valid. It's normal. AND…. none of it means you're 💩 or "NOT CUT OUT FOR THIS" anymore.

It just means WE START SMALL, and build from there ✅✅

Which one hit closest to home?

Tell me below 👇

(and if it's "all of the above," just say, I promise NO JUDGEMENT HERE)
