🩰 Pointe shoes aren’t just ballet shoes. They’re an important part of a dancer’s journey and the health of their feet!

That’s why getting that first pointe fitting right really matters.

We’re so lucky to have Kate at The Dance Spot Chippenham — a fabulous independent dancewear shop where experience, knowledge and genuine care come first. Kate understands dancers and the journey they’re on, not least through her own daughter’s progression into professional training.

And as much as we love a bargain… online pointe shoes? Absolutely not! 😂🩰

After many years in the dance profession and with extensive qualifications and experience, I believe passionately that our dancers must be treated as individuals. Pointe should come at the right time, at the right level, with the right preparation — and with technique continually monitored as they develop.

Because pointe isn’t about rushing to the next exciting milestone.

It’s about earning it, preparing for it and doing it safely.

And when that first pair finally goes on… 💕

Huge thank you to my best friend Kerry for the most wonderful birthday gift — a night out to see the absolutely fabulous new production of CATS! 🐱✨

An evening made even more special seeing former student, Katie, taking on the role of Bombalurina. I couldn’t have been prouder! ❤️

I was absolutely blown away by KATIE ELLA DUNSDEN and the entire cast — such a spectacular, electrifying performance from start to finish. 🌟

A huge thank you to everyone who made our Disco Fever Summer School 2026 so special! 💃🕺

Our amazing students worked incredibly hard all week and put on a fantastic performance. We are always so proud of them 🤩

A special thank you to everyone who supported our cake sale—we’re delighted to say we raised £120 for Guide Dogs! 🐾
