A rather warm couple of days, but we managed with our fans and spray water bottle, for mid -class spritz all around!

Gentler classes with some stretching and a little PBT ( progressing ballet technique) with our dancers to keep us cool.
Well done all!
Stay cool over these next two hot hot days! 🔥
Hopefully it will cool off before our performance on Saturday at Ivy Lane School Summer Fair.

☀️It is set to be very hot this week.☀️
We have a fan running and access to cold water top ups.

Please make sure your child:
*brings a bottle of cold water- some ice in it would be great.
*wears suitable clothing- tights not needed this week, a pair of shorts over a leotard/tshirt is fine.

Classes will be more gentle/ and calmer with regular breaks. We will be focussing on stretching and the slower barre work and centre work.

FOILS Summer Fayre is coming up on Saturday 27th June and promises to be a fun day; with inflatables, performances, face painting, tombolas, a visit from the fire engine and much more! 🎪🐻 🎨 🚒

We have our certificate! Our adult tappers enjoyed the challenge of learning this dance and coming together for the live event...a new experience for us!
The stats are in for the amount they raised- Well done everyone:

Together, an incredible 761 participants from across the UK came together to tap dance, fundraise, and raise awareness for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. Thanks to your support, Time to Tap 2026 raised an amazing £42,567.32 to help support people affected by lung cancer.

What a beautiful day at Monkton Park yesterday where these gorgeous little dancers bravely faced the crowd to perform. What a fantastic job you did! The first performance of the year is never easy and with so many watching this year, I was so proud that every dancer got up to perform (despite a few pre-performance jitters!) For our Reception age Introduction to Ballet class this was your first performance ever!! I couldn't be more proud of you all.🥰
