Throwback Thursday 🤝

7 years ago, I was granted the opportunity to join the Mclaren DNA driver program.

An opportunity that meant the world to me. Unfortunately due to budget restrictions, I couldn’t take the next step.

Still, to be recognised by one motorsport biggest brands and race team. Is something I will never forget and something im incredibly proud of.

Sometimes the journey doesn’t go exactly as planned. But passion and drive never fades 🧡

1️⃣ Money creates opportunities not talent.

A simple explanation but talented drives loose opportunities to prove themselves through lack of funding compared to other drivers.

2️⃣ Racing is a lifestyle and very quickly becomes one.

If you want to succeed in motorsport you have to put more hours and more sessions in then others, Like any sport the more.
Effort ➡️ Results

3️⃣ 90% of the time you will loose or something go wrong. The last 10% is whats makes racing so special.
People can invest absolutely everything into you, and even that may not be enough. Motorsport can be extremely harsh at points and strip all emotion down to its core.

So one year on…

A journey that I don’t think anyone expected.

The Legacy Bodyworks Ltd team have absolutely excelled and exceeded all expectations.

A true testimony to how hard they work and deserve everything headed their way. 🤝

A team that are willing to put their hands to absolutely anything whilst being a huge influence to me and my racing career!

From race helmets to helicopters to rare cars they simply do it all.

Here is to 1 year and the rest to come 🍻

An amazing day yesterday with the boys and girls at Motion Motorsport

📍 Brands Hatch

Absolutely incredible watching the GT World challenge cars and how seriously fast they are.

Also great to see the boys at Motion getting the results and recognition they deserve and work so hard for. 🤝

On a more personal note, A difficult day for me being forced into watching and missing out on driving an amazing track with all the fans watching!

But days like this really expose the desire and passion to succeed and win.

The fire has well and truly been lit and burning bigger than ever before.

We will be back.
Stronger than ever before and with a point to prove. 💪🏻

So yeah … gutted.

Unfortunately I wont be in the hot seat this weekend at Brands hatch.

A weekend that will definitely get a-lot of attention from fans seeing as its on the GT World challenge EU package.

A real shame but as they say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

Uncertainty for me at the minute regarding my future and next outing on circuit but best believe I am fighting everyday to get my place back on the grid.

I shall hopefully see you all soon at a racetrack somewhere!
