✨ Presentation Evening 2025 – What a Night! ✨

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated everything that makes Chippenham Netball Club so special 💜 From standout players and inspiring juniors to our coaches and committee — what a brilliant evening!

🏆 Each team honoured a Players' Player and a Coach’s Player, recognising the incredible effort, commitment, and team spirit shown this season.
🌟 We also celebrated the recipient of the Chippenham Netball Futures Award, recognising one of our U18s who truly embodies the values of our club.
📸 And who could forget Photo of the Season — a big win for Cougars and their unforgettable Christmas tree team photo! 🎄
🎟️ The raffle was INTENSE (in the best way) with some amazing prizes up for grabs and lots of money raised for the club — thank you to everyone who supported it!

And finally, a huge thank you to our coaches and committee members — your time, dedication, and love for the game is what keeps this club thriving. We couldn’t do it without you 💙💜

🎬 Moonraker Summer League 2025 – That’s a Wrap! 🎬

This year’s Summer League theme was movies, and we were lucky enough to have not one but TWO Chippenham teams in action thanks to such amazing uptake — introducing… Wonder Woman and The Avengers! 💥🦸‍♀️

It’s always such a great event bringing together juniors and seniors, with teams made up of players across the club. Being a versatility league meant lots of position swapping (and plenty of moaning about playing Centre 😅) but it made for some fun and competitive match play each week!

💫 Results-wise, it was a real mix of big wins, narrow losses, and loads of learning — ending in an all-Chippenham derby for the 5th/6th place playoff. Wonder Woman clinched the win, meaning:
🥇 5th – Wonder Woman
🥈 6th – Avengers

🌟 Special shoutouts to Martha R and Sophie E who both received three Player of the Match awards across the league — amazing work!

💜 And a final HUGE well done to the Avengers, who won the Fair Play Award — something we’re incredibly proud of as a club 🫶

Amy is not only a dedicated player but also our amazing Club Secretary, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of Chippenham Netball Club. From behind-the-scenes organisation to on-court passion, she does it all and we couldn’t appreciate her more!

📣 INTERCLUB TOURNAMENT – THIS TUESDAY!🏐💜

We’re hosting our end-of-season Interclub Tournament this Tuesday 20th May from 7–9pm — the perfect final opportunity for some fun and competitive match play before trials kick off in June!

We’re also opening the invite to anyone who has signed up to trial for the club next season, whether you’re a returning player or new to Chippenham Netball — we’d love to see you on court!

Current players: please let your captains know if you’re attending.
New or returning players: drop us a message on social media or email to let us know you’ll be there!

Final score: 35-38 to Devizes.

A tough and evenly matched game to round off the season. With a few key players missing, we were grateful to call on support from our younger squad — Martha and Alex, who both played brilliantly and stepped up with confidence! 👏

Our defence held strong despite enforced injury substitutions, and our mid-court and attack stayed consistent throughout. It was in the final quarter that we really came alive, with some brilliant attacking interceptions helping us win the quarter and finish the game — and the season — on a high, despite the result.

A special shoutout to our incredible Pam, who played her final Moonraker match. It was an honour to share the court (and the prosecco!) with you — thank you for everything you’ve brought to the team over the years! 💜

PUMAS WIN! 🐾💜

We finished our final match of the season with a 54-5 win — and if all goes well, that means we’ve WON THE LEAGUE after an incredible run with just one loss and one forfeited match!

Every player put in a brilliant performance tonight and Sophia was named Player of the Match 👏 Huge thank you to Felicity for coaching us and to Davina for umpiring!

It’s been an amazing season for the Pumas — so proud of this team! x
