Why is strength training so important for your bones?

Many people think strength training is only about building muscle, but one of its biggest benefits is what it does for your bones.

When you perform resistance exercises such as squats, lunges, presses, and deadlifts, your muscles pull against your bones. This creates a healthy stress that signals your body to strengthen and rebuild bone tissue, helping to increase or maintain bone density.

This is especially important as we age. From our 30s onwards, we naturally begin to lose bone mass, increasing the risk of conditions such as osteoporosis. At The Studio, we understand that every body is different.

A huge congratulations to Jeanine for reaching an amazing milestone… 1,000 sessions at The Studio 👏💙🧡

That’s 1,000 times walking through the doors.
1,000 workouts completed.
1,000 occasions of choosing to look after herself, even when life is busy, stressful or tiring.

This is what real progress looks like. Not perfection. Not extremes. Just consistency over time.

Jeanine has been such a valued part of our community for so long now and we honestly couldn’t imagine The Studio without her. Her hard work, positivity and commitment have been incredible to watch over the years.
