Move evidence about the benefits of strength training -

Here are just some benefits from studies.

Researchers writing in the British Journal of Sports Medicine looked at data from three studies involving 147,374 men and women over 30 years.

They found those who consistently did between 90 minutes and two hours of weight training every week lowered the risk of premature death from any cause by 13%.

The risk of dying from cardiovascular disease – a heart attack or stroke for example – was 19% lower.

For a death due to neurological disease - for example dementia - the fall was even greater, at 27%.

Excited to finally share that I am now fully qualified as a Pre & Post Natal PT 🙌🏼🤍

Over the last 5 months I’ve been working towards this alongside teaching classes at the amazing , training my fabulous clients who are getting stronger week by week 💪🏼, rehabbing my knee after surgery 🦵🏼 and, of course, looking after my lovely family 💞

It’s taken me a little longer than I originally hoped, but I got there in the end — and I’m so proud of myself for sticking with it ✨
