A huge well done to our Men’s A who made the Final at the Newquay Champs for a third straight year, picking up a 5th place medal after a valiant effort 🏅
Finals day started with a late Quarter Final, where the crew qualified in 2nd to progress through to the Semi Finals. They were then drawn in the first Semi, meaning a very quick turnaround and arguably the toughest draw, with 4 of last year’s finalists all in the same heat.
A strong race saw the A’s come home 3rd, but with the heat being so competitive and fast, they secured their place in the Final as one of the fastest qualifying boats.
In the Final, the A’s put up a valiant fight, fighting all the way down the first leg and around the mark in 5th, before holding that position for the full two laps to finish 5th overall.
Another Final, another strong performance from both the A’s & B's, and a great way to finish off the season for the Men’s Squad 🙌
