🎅 CHRISTMAS RAFFLE - Prizes wanted! 🎁
Its that time of year when we are on the hunt for donations to our Christmas raffle, which funds our annual Christmas party for the kids (and our other youth football activities).

We would love to accept any of the following:
• Business freebies
• Retail, Restaurant, or Service Gift vouchers
• Unwanted / Unopened gifts (we won't tell your Mother-in-law)
• Food hampers
• Unopened drinks, wines and spirits

Please drop us a DM if you have something you'd be willing to donate. All funds raised stay within the club, to be spent on activities and football for the children.

This weekend, East Wheal Rose FC is proud to support the FA’s Silent Support Weekend — encouraging a positive matchday environment for young players across grassroots football.

The aim is simple: to turn down the noise on the sidelines so that players can focus, make their own decisions, and enjoy the game their way.

We’re asking all our teams and parents to take part this weekend and to spread to the word to all spectators.

How to get involved
👏 Applaud good play from both teams.
💬 Avoid giving instructions or commentary during matches.
⚽ Let the players lead – it’s their game to play and enjoy.

By taking part, you will be helping to create a calmer, more supportive environment where young people can build confidence and love for the game. It also gives us all the chance to see how our young footballers can take the lead themselves, and use their own voices to support their team mates.

Please share this information with your family members ahead of the weekend’s fixtures to ensure everyone understands what Silent Support is about and how to take part.

Big shout out to our U10 Raiders, U10 Raptors, & our U11s who all gave a great account of themselves at this weekend’s Liskeard Pro20 tournament.
In a very competitive standard over both age groups, all three teams faced up against some top opposition. There were some superb team and individual performances - and plenty of action for the players and parents to enjoy.
Well done to all the players who flew their EWR colours with pride. 🧡👏

Well done to our superstar U7s who took part in a lovely invitational tournament at St Blazey a F C today.
Winning all three of their group matches, these five champs played some fantastic footy before finally running out of puff in the final decider.

🎁 CHRISTMAS RAFFLE PRIZES 🎁

Calling all local businesses! East Wheal Rose Junior Football Club (based in Mitchell / St Newlyn East / Newquay) is looking for some exciting raffle prizes - large or small - for our Christmas prize draw, to be held on 11th December.

All funds raised will be going towards our children’s Christmas party (venue hire, food, drink and gifts for the kids) and our ongoing youth football activities (currently comprising 7 kids’ teams aged U7 to U12). The club is non-profit and run entirely by volunteers with the support of generous sponsors and grant funding.

In return for your support, we will credit you with a post on our social media and on the night - and you will have the satisfaction of contributing to our great little community club that supports young people take part in the sport they love. 🧡
