Here are clubs dates / updates.

St Austell last session: Today.
St Austell next session back: 6th January 2026.

For today's sessions (8pm-9pm) Please feel free to come in with festive clothing! I will be bringing treats for all! I will be playing Christmas music and teaching members more game theory for the tournament tomorrow!

I have already listed all teams in our group chat.

If you are a member of the St Austell club, please meet me in the car park for 5:45pm at TR1 3GA. Car park is near the top roundabout at the sports hall. I can send my location if needed.

Please just bring £5 for the fee today and tomorrow like normal and I will cover the St Austell members £10 team fee.

Hello everyone.

Unfortunately I have some devastating news to share.
One of our beloved members, Albert Pimblett, has passed away 💔

The energy he brought to this club was like nothing else. He was so energetic and absolutely loved playing when he was here. He was like a brother to some of us. He means so much to us all and we are absolutely heartbroken.
A few of us gave him a hug before he left on his final visit to us and I'm so glad we did now.
He will be greatly missed. I hope you're in a better place now Albert.
We will be hosting a minute silence for him on our next session.

Hello everyone. Here is the announcement about a 2nd venue.

Unfortunately, roseland academy sports hall (or any other additional court) will no longer be happening as i personally need extra things in place which take time to get.
Polkyth (current venue) offers lots of help in that regard as they have staff on site at all times.

So instead, i will be aiming for another additional venue next year and work towards having the extras I need in place.

Also, sunday sessions are now over.

So for now, it's only Tuesdays 8pm-9pm at Polkyth.

Hey everyone! Just a reminder about session dates from September.
Days: Tuesdays and Sundays
Times: Tuesdays 8pm-9pm, Sundays 2pm-3pm.
Prices: Tuesdays £5 pp, Sundays are variable, £34÷number of people who turn up. Money to be sent to the volleyball club bank account.
All September dates: 2nd, 7th, 9th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd, 28th & 30th.

Hello everyone,

Just a reminder, Sunday 24th August session is no longer on as some of you may not know! 🙏

From September, we will have sunday sessions every Sunday at 2-3pm!

Hello everyone 🫶 upcoming changes are being made FROM SEPTEMBER ‼️

Volleyball will be on every week on the following times and dates:
Tuesday's - 8pm-9pm.
Sunday's - 2pm-3pm.

Prices:
Tuesday's: £5
Sunday's: Split between the group to equal £35.
(This means it will be a variable price depending on how many people show up)

I myself won't be able to make most sunday slots so the group will be advised to warmup as normal (running & stretching), go for a drink and then go into a game.
Payments will be sorted between the group and someone amongst the group will be appointed to bank transfer the £35 to the volleyball club bank account.
Failure to do this will result in terminating the sunday bookings and or possibly a ban from the group.

Hello everyone. I have a very Important notice to share with you all.

Unfortunately I'm here with some bad news (completely out of my control) but also some potentially good news.

Here are the most recent updates with the volleyball club.

- From September, our sessions will only be 1hr long. 8pm-9pm.

- From September, price will stay at £5 despite less court time as ive had huge price increases that takes effect immediately. But i will be covering that for now.

- Some good news, is that a 2nd slot will most likely be happening. For now, this looks like it will be on a sunday 1:30pm-2:30pm. As soon as this takes effect, i will let everyone know.
*Please let me know if this works or doesnt work for you so i can get an estimate on numbers*

- other plans are still in the works. This includes looking into a 2nd slot in a different location (tregony school) with the potential of having way more court time 👍 unsure of dates and times for now. Updates will follow from September i believe.

- 24th August session is no longer happening due to how much it would be when previously, it would've been a lot less. This also means a match against Plymouth doesnt look like its happening either.

- for those curious about the sports kit, i still haven't had an email saying they're done. I will check on this today and try and get them ready for tomorrow. But no promises 😴
