🏉 💪🏽 Another Bude RFC success story! 💪🏽

Not to be outdone by her big brother, Lily Johns has taken another huge step towards achieving her rugby dreams, progressing through to the final stages of the England U18 selection process!

Originally selected from the PDG South West Nolli Waterman group, Lily earned her place in the initial 73-player training camp in Nottingham. From there, she has battled her way through to the final 47, with the squad now set to be reduced to 40, from which the England team will be built.

Throughout her time at Bude RFC, coming through the girls’ age groups, Lily has always been one of the most determined, dedicated and driven players at our club. Her commitment and passion for the game have been clear for all to see.

Having now taken the brave step of moving away from home to follow her dreams, combining her studies and rugby at Hartpury College, she continues to show just what hard work, dedication and determination can achieve.

Everyone at Bude RFC is incredibly proud of the player Lily has become and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.

Go well, Lily! You’ve got the whole club behind you! 💙❤️
