Important Information Regarding Our Stadium !
The stadium infield will undergo its annual renovation works from 27 August and will be closed until 4 September. During this time, no field throwing activities will be permitted. Following the renovation period, and subject to satisfactory regrowth, javelin, discus and hammer throwing (chains only) may resume. To support the recovery of the field, we kindly ask that running activities on the infield are kept to a minimum.
The North Stand is currently undergoing remedial painting and decorating works. From 1 September, the stand will be closed for approximately two weeks while the main and emergency lighting systems, along with associated wiring and containment, are replaced. As these works will be carried out overhead, the stand will be out of bounds for health and safety reasons.
The athletics track will also be affected from 1 September, with daytime closures for four days to allow for high-pressure cleaning and the renewal of lane and event markings. During the evenings, sections of the track may remain closed to ensure the newly applied markings can cure correctly.
