**It is never too late to start. 🥋❤️**
Meet **Rebecca Waterhouse, age 47**.
Just over two years ago, Rebecca had **never done any form of martial arts**.
She first joined KRMA after attending a **Mother’s Day class**, then went on to take part in our **Couch to Red Belt course**… and what a journey it has been since then.
In a little over two years, Rebecca has achieved so much to be proud of. She has competed in the **English Championships** and the **North Lincolnshire Open**, bringing home:
🥇 **Gold**
🥈 **2 Silvers**
🥉 **Bronze**
But the medals are only part of the story.
Rebecca says martial arts has taken over their lives in **such a positive way**, and that being part of the **KRMA family** has meant so much to her.
To think that just two years ago she had never trained in martial arts, and now she is preparing to **represent England at the World Championships in Austria**, is something she describes as a dream — especially at her age.
And that is exactly why her story is so inspiring.
It proves that **anything is possible if you believe in yourself, work hard and have the right people around you**.
Rebecca has made amazing friends through KRMA and says the support she receives from her teammates and instructors has been incredible.
We are so proud of everything she has achieved so far, and this is only the beginning.
🥋 If you’ve ever thought, *“I’d love to try martial arts, but I’m too old, too unfit or too late to start,”* let Rebecca’s story be your reminder…
**You are not too late.**
If you’d like to find out more about training with KRMA, send us a message.
**You don’t have to want to become a champion.
You just have to be willing to start.**
