It was our last session of beginners today!! Congrats to everyone that passed and hopefully see you as a member soon!! We also had a really good turn out of members today too!!

​A massive part of today’s success was seeing some incredible shooting. Huge congratulations to the following archers for completing their Barebow 252 Awards:

​🎯 Pete: Smashed his 252 at 80 yards! An incredible achievement, and it’s onwards to the massive 100-yard challenge for him next.

​🎯 Charlotte: Brilliant shooting to complete her 252 at 30 yards!

​🎯 Xander: Also nailed his 252 at 30 yards! Huge well done!

​🎯 Blake: Crushed their 252 at 20 yards! A fantastic achievement for them! (Not pictured)

🏆 KLAC Smashes the LCAS County Outdoors! 🏹

​What a weekend hosting the Lincolnshire County Championships at KLASSIC Park!

​Huge congratulations to our KLAC squad—we took home the Lincolnshire Club Team Trophy (beating Silver Spoon for the second week running!). A massive shoutout also goes to Mary, Nigel, and Jacob for representing the Lincolnshire County Team!

​Here are the individual highlights from our incredible archers:
​🎯 Nigel: Lincs Compound Champ! Scored a massive 1216 (York), won a Gold Rose, Most Golds, 1st Gold at 110m, AND set new County/Club records!

🎯 Pete: Lincs Barebow 50+ Champ! Took 1st with 790 (Hereford) and claimed a Red Rose Award!

🎯 Xander (U12): 2nd Barebow! Scored 989 (Bristol 5), won Jr Most Golds & a Gold Rose, beat his PB by 150+, set a Club Record, AND shot to Master Bowman standard! 🔥

🎯 Mary: 2nd Barebow Women! Scored 733 (Hereford), claimed a Blue Rose, set a new PB/Club Record, and hit 1st Gold at 90m!

🎯 Steve: 2nd Barebow Open! Scored 487 on the gruelling York round in his FIRST EVER competition! 👏

🎯 Jacob: 3rd Recurve Open! Shot a 500 (York) and placed 3rd despite snapping his arrow rest in half mid-shoot! 😅

​A huge thank you to everyone who helped host and to all the visiting archers. 👏

🎯TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY! 🎯

​The wait is officially over. Tomorrow, Sunday, June 14th, the best archers from across the county are descending upon Klassic Park for the Lincolnshire County Archery Championships! 🏹✨ It is also the inter-county match between Lincolnshire and Leicestershire & Rutland 🏆

​Whether you’re stepping up to the shooting line to claim the title or coming down to cheer on your favorite archers, it’s going to be an incredible day of precision, focus, and community.

Good luck to all the competitors! Let’s make this championship one to remember. See you on the field! 🙌

Don't forget that KLASSIC Park field will be closed to the public tomorrow while we host the Lincolnshire County Archery Society Outdoor Championships. Spectators are welcome but please keep dogs on leads and stay on the carpark side of the rope for safety. The outdoor gym equipment will still be available for use too. Thank you 😊🏹

🎯TROPHY ALERT! 🏆🏹
​What a phenomenal Sunday at the range! Yesterday (June 7th), Kirton in Lindsey took on the Silverspoon Bowmen in an epic showdown—and we are officially bringing home the Team Trophy! 🎉✨

​Huge congratulations to the entire squad for pulling together an incredible win, but a special shoutout goes to two of our standout archers who absolutely dominated their categories:

​🥇 Pete – Over 50s Barebow Champion!
🥇 Mary – Female Barebow Champion!

​A massive thank you to Silver Spoon Bowmen for a fantastic day of fierce competition and great sportsmanship. We always love shooting with you!
