‼️ let’s talk sponsor’s ‼️

Grassroots football relies massively on fundraising and sponsorship from parents, family, friends and local businesses!

Rotherham Rangers are very lucky to have the support of amazing parents and the support of lots of local businesses… however big or small every contribution, donation and sponsor means the world.
From equipment to kits, training facilities/venues, presentations and parties.

Matchday 8 and the Rangers boys got back to winning ways with a 4-1 win in very difficult weather conditions 🌧️ 🌬️

The boys played fantastically and thoroughly deserved the win. After falling behind in the first half they superbly came back in the second half, the first goal coming courtesy of another Ezra rocket free kick making that 2 in 2 games, we then took the lead after a mazy run by Jayson who managed to force the ball over the line. We then extended the lead through Oscar’s calm finish from inside the box which found the bottom corner and then Ben rounded off the win after breaking through from his own half to calmly finish past the goalkeeper. Another all round top performance from all the boys in very wild conditions
All big shout out to Huzz who made not only his Rangers debut but also his grassroots debut slotting in perfectly in defence.

Opposition Playee of the Match - JAYSON

Jayson produced another barnstorming performance with mazy run after mazy run down the right wing. Despite being on the end of some fouls Jayson kept battling and grabbed himself a goal that put us in front by squeezing the ball over the line

Jayson is available to sponsor for a small donation

Parents Player of the Match - BEN

Ben put in a brilliant centre forwards display, holding the ball up, laying it off and constantly pressing not giving the opposition defence a moments peace. Ben capped his display by bagging the fourth goal with a cool calm finish and a run from his own half

Ben is kindly sponsored by Core Industry Ltd

Managers Player of the Match - OSCAR

Oscar continued his seamless transition to the Rangers team looking like he has been here all year. Oscar bossed the middle of the park with great tackling, passing and dribbling and also grabbed is second goal for the club in only 3 games with a great finish from inside the box

Oscar is kindly sponsored by ABE Engineering & DW BRICKWORK
