Starting to ride at seven years old at trekking centres and whilst on family holidays with his parents and siblings. We fell so much in love with the horse world, that his parents decided to buy our own ponies and horses and stable them at a farm in Flamborough. From this point, he started his journey to becoming the instructor he is today. The Middleton and the Wolds Pony Club gave him the founda
tions on which he built his skills and profession; by taking all the examinations they gave in stable management and riding capability up to C+ certificate, entering the numerous competitions in Show Jumping, Hunter Trials and Dressage at a local level, honing his growing abilities. This eventually led to studying a First Diploma and National Diploma in Horse Management at Askham Brian College. On the successful completion of these qualifications, he joined Snainton Riding Centre; which provided many years of continuous experience. Now Freelance as Equestria Riding Instruction as a UKCC Level 2 Coach, Martin is available to help you at your own stables get the most out of your riding skills with your own pony or horse to bring on your abilities whilst being sympathetic to both the rider and their beloved mount.
