When people think of Bournemouth Rugby, they see the matches.
They see the tries, the tackles, the victories, the celebrations and the memories made on the pitch.
What they don’t always see are the volunteers who make it all possible.
The coaches developing players from their very first session through to senior rugby.
The team managers organising teams week after week.
The committee members planning for the future of the club.
The volunteers supporting our festivals, events and community programmes.
The parents, supporters and club members who give up their time because they care about something bigger than themselves.
From our Minis and Youth section to our Colts, Senior teams, Wheelchair Rugby programme, sponsors, events and community initiatives, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.
Not just on matchdays.
Not just during the season.
Every day.
Every week.
All year round.
None of it happens without volunteers.
So during Volunteers’ Week, we simply want to say thank you.
Thank you for your time.
Thank you for your commitment.
Thank you for your passion.
Thank you for helping make Bournemouth Rugby the club it is today.
Because whilst players may wear the badge on the pitch, our volunteers carry it every single day.
