Brand new courts open for play 👌A bit livelier than our other 3 but very good under foot and a consistent slightly higher bounce 🙂

A simple control drill with colour coded sections at each end of the court. The player matches the colour of the feed to the target zone at the opposite end.

A shade over 6 weeks and the new surface is so close to being open for play. Great job by and also by the club committee to sort this out and invest for the future of the club 👏👏👏

Sometimes you want to play more positive when receiving a high deep ball on the baseline rather than playing a defensive topspin shot. If you choose to play the bounce smash , hit it upwards with slice and aim at the opposite baseline. You can't hit it slowly though, you have to attack the slice. Try it, it works 🙂
