🏏 What a T20 Finals Day! 🏏

Old Parkonians were proud to host the Cheshire Cricket League T20 Finals Day at Holm Lane on Sunday, with a fantastic crowd creating an incredible atmosphere! ☀️👏

Our 1st XI lifted the Plate after a brilliant performance against Holmes Chapel. Captain Dan Berkson stole the show with a sensational 70 ball Century, and earning Player of the Match 🏆🔥

In the Cup Final, Barnton took the title against Lymm OP, with Joel Cross claiming Player of the Match after a stunning 4-12, including a hat-trick! 🎩🔥

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success — organisers, volunteers, members, players and, of course, the brilliant supporters! 💙

With 2 wickets against Barnton CC on Saturday, he has now surpassed an incredible 900 wickets for the 1st XI — as well as taking his overall tally to more than 1,100 wickets for the club!

A fantastic achievement and plenty of years of service behind those numbers.

We’ve been absolutely blown away by the generosity shown towards our Women’s Touch Awards Night raffle.

A massive thank you to all of the fantastic local businesses who have donated some incredible prizes — from hair and beauty treatments and gift sets to vouchers, bouquets, bottles and more. Your support really does mean so much to us. 🥰

But the prizes don’t stop there! 👀🎁

We’ve also had so many generous donations from members of Oxton Parkonians and our Junior Section, who have contributed bottles, gifts and lots more to help us put together a brilliant raffle. It’s fantastic to see their commitment and hard work recognised with an invitation to Old Trafford, where they enjoyed a day at The Point watching Lancashire take on Gloucestershire.
