Summer programme.
Free Outdoor volleyball sessions on grass or at the beach. First session THIS THURSDAY - May 25 at Higher Bebington Road playing field (next to Co-op Acedemy) from 5-8pm. Come and play drop in sessions, bring a friend, try it out…

Free outdoor volleyball programme begins tomorrow and will continue throughout the school summer holidays.
Two sessions per week:
Thursday evenings from 6-8pm - venue playing field at Higher Bebington Road next to Coop Academy
Sunday mornings from 11am to 1pm - venue Fort Perch Rock beach New Brighton (weather and tide permitting) or Bebington as above.
Age group 12 and up.
These are come and play sessions. You don't need any special equipment just a T-shirt, shorts and trainers.
Come along and try it out, get some exercise, get to know our existing players, join the club in September if you want to continue.

Volleyball cancelled on Sunday 5th December. Woodchurch sports hall is being used for a karate tournament on that date.

Urgent message. Tomorrow’s volleyball session is OFF. The sportscentre roof was damaged by the wind overnight so it’s shut this weekend.

There’s no match so we have a club session at Woodchurch on Sunday from 11:am until 1:00pm. See you there I hope.

There’ll be no public session at Woodchurch on Sundays for the next three weeks as the court time is being taken up be matches and tournaments. Our U15 and U16s are playing Frodsham on Nov 9th and Wirral A are playing Wigan Seahawks on Nov 21st. In between, on Nov 14th, the hall is being used for a men’s tournament.

We’ve started the league season now so one of our teams will be playing a home match at Woodchurch most Sundays. Unfortunately that leaves less time for casual players. Watch this space, I’ll post when we have Sundays free for open club sessions. We do have another weekly club session from 6-8pm on Thursday evenings at Wirral Grammar Girls that you could come to.

The league season starts on Sunday, October 31. We’ll be using Woodchurch HS most Sundays after that for matches so we won’t be able to host regular ‘open’ club sessions. Occasional sessions will be available so watch out for dates in Facebook messenger if you want to continue with your volleyball.
We do have a club session on Thursday evenings from 6-8pm at Wirral Grammar Girls but it’s almost fully subscribed so it pays to check availability before you come along.

New autumn training schedule.
Club session on Thursdays at Wirral Grammar Girls from September 13th - U15s 5:00 to 6:30pm, club session from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
Training and matches on Sundays at Woodchurch High School Sports Centre from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Merseyside league matches start from mid-October.
Check our web site in October for fixture details.

U12s session cancelled
We have decided not to continue our outdoor sessions for U12s as the numbers attending have been very low. There will be no 5.30 to 6.30pm session on Thursday August 5th.
