🧡 | 2026/27 SEASON

After a league meeting a few weeks ago, the East of Scotland Football League Board came to the decision to have a restructure, meaning the 3rd Division would be scrapped!

Instead, the 2nd Division is to be split into two regionalised conference leagues, where we will be participating in the South-East League.

We will face our fellow South-East league teams twice, both home and away, whilst playing the North-West teams once, either home or away, playing a total of 32 league games.

1st place from both leagues gain promotion, whilst 2nd and 3rd place go into playoffs against each other!

We look forward to the fixtures being released to see who we face, and when! ⚽️

🧡 | A NEW CHAPTER & PATHWAY - TRFC U20s

We are delighted to share some exciting news! It is the clubs intention to introduce and run an U20s team and a clear and ambitious player pathway from youth level into senior football!

The plan is for the U20s to compete in the East of Scotland Development League, and enter the league ahead of the 2027/28 season.

Aside from the approaching preseason, it’s most likely everyone’s attention will be focusing on the World Cup, which kicks off in just over 10 days time! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

As the season comes to an end, we want to take a moment to thank some incredible people behind the scenes at Tweedmouth.

Firstly, a huge thank you to Vicky Dixon for everything she does on a matchday. The work that goes into the hospitality side never goes unnoticed, and Vicky always makes sure everyone is looked after, both the home and away teams. Her effort, organisation, and commitment play a massive part in creating such a welcoming atmosphere at the club.

A massive thank you as well to Lyndsey Flannigan for all her hard work with the accounts throughout the year. The time, effort, and dedication that goes into keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes is invaluable. Lyndsey’s professionalism and support have been hugely appreciated by everyone at the club.

Finally, a special thank you to Dennis McCleary for all his help and support throughout the season. Dennis has played a major role in helping Tweedmouth reach a huge milestone — playing in our first ever Scottish Cup. His commitment and support for the club have meant a great deal to everyone involved.

The second of our jokey awards went to Tommy Malcolm, picking up the “Mr Poser” award. Despite refuting the award at the presentation, saying there were plenty of other posers in the team, two of which have had teeth whitened this season, Tommy did eventually take it on the chin. Just a bit of fun recognition for the laughs and personality he brings to the team!

The first of our two light-hearted awards went to Kelvin Woodcock, picking up the “Mr Angry” award. All in good spirit, Kelvin takes it on the chin and has been a big character around the club throughout the season. Ollie has been a massive help throughout the season and has become one of the club’s biggest supporters, following the team home and away whenever he can.
