🙏 | Thank you Jonathan!
Now that the 2025/6 season is complete, we can confirm that former Under 14s manager Jonathan Brown has stepped away from his official roles at the club.
Jonathan has played a crucial role in putting Berwick Rangers CA on the map - winning the GMS Trophy in our first season, and then leading the team to a truly incredible achievement; the Northumberland Football League Under 13 Premiership title in 2024/5. Competing against the very best sides in the region, Jonathan has led a brilliant group of local boys to the very top, together with coach Anthony Murray.
Jonathan's knowledge of football, understanding of coaching, and support for his players has been at the core of what has made our Under 14 team so successful , and like all of our coaches, his hard work behind the scenes demonstrates the dedication and care that he has for developing our young players into excellent footballers and representatives of the club.
Even though Jonathan stepped down as manager during the season, he has stayed on in a supportive capacity to help new manager Anthony Murray. Anthony has maintained the quality and passion that Jonathan brought, and the team successfully retained their position as an NFL Premiership team.
Everyone at Berwick Rangers CA thanks Jonathan for his immense contributions. Of course, he will still be cheering his son Grayson on from the sidelines on Sundays, and so it is certainly not farewell just yet!
