INTER DIAMONDS PRESENTATION NIGHT ✨🏆

WOW! What an incredible evening celebrating an amazing season for Inter & Pumas.

A huge thank you to our fantastic organising committee of volunteers, including coach Rob, for putting together such a brilliant presentation night. Nights like this don’t happen without the dedication of our volunteers, and we’re incredibly grateful. 👏

⭐ Players’ Player – Mark ⭐

Mark also picked up a very special award, and what a season he has had! Mark is someone we can always rely on. He gives his all, supports those around him and is a true role model to all our players.

The fact that his fellow players voted for him as their Players’ Player says everything. A thoroughly deserved recognition. 🏆

🌟 Most Improved Player – Charley 🌟

Charley has shown incredible commitment and determination throughout the season. He always gives 100%, and that hard work has really paid off. He has developed into a top-class player and should be incredibly proud of how far he has come. 💪

A massive thank you to Manager James for another amazing season, alongside coaches Rob and Andrew. Your commitment, encouragement and support make such a difference to our players.

A huge thank you to Rachel, who works tirelessly behind the scenes looking after players’ subs, match-day photos and commentary. 📸

And of course, well done to every single player. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. It’s been fantastic watching you grow, develop, support each other and enjoy your football.

Finally, a big thank you to JoJo for the delicious cupcakes! 🧁😋

An Important Update on the Liam Jinks Cup:

After a great deal of thought, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel this year’s Liam Jinks Cup.

For the past five years, the tournament has become so much more than a football competition. It has grown into a celebration of inclusive football, welcoming teams from across the country, strengthening our partnership with Special Olympics, and creating unforgettable memories for players, families and volunteers alike.

We are immensely proud of everything the event has become.

This year, however, our club has experienced significant changes within our volunteer team, alongside our Chair taking maternity leave. As a volunteer-led club, we simply don’t have the capacity to deliver the tournament to the high standard that everyone deserves and has come to expect.

The Liam Jinks Cup is far too important to us to do anything less than our very best.

We are already committed to bringing the tournament back next year.

We know this news will be disappointing, and we’re sorry to everyone who was looking forward to taking part. Thank you to every player, family, volunteer, partner organisation and club that has supported the Liam Jinks Cup over the last five years. Your support has made it one of the highlights of the inclusive football calendar, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back next year.
