🏆🏆 EAST RIDING GIRLS FOOTBALL LEAGUE AWARDS NIGHT 🏆🏆

The gaffer had the pleasure of accompanying captains Lyla and Flo to the East Riding Girls Football League Awards held at the University of Hull last night, where Barton Girls U14s were awarded the Fair Play Award for their division (voted for by our league opponents).

The girls have made brilliant progress on the pitch, but one thing that has never changed is the spirit in which they play the game and the respect they have for each other, and their opponents.

👨‍🎨👚 We need the help of our local communities and supporters to settle on our new look kit for next season 👨‍🎨👚

With the help of our principal kit partner, Empire Kits, we have come up with a number of design options for our main 2026/27 playing kit, but only one design can make it out onto the pitch next season 👀

The winning design will also bear the logo of our main shirt sponsor, PAWS - Petsitting and Walking Services, and sleeve sponsor, The George Inn, Barton

Please give our page a follow and keep an eye on our page over the coming days for the full kit reveal and details on how you can vote for your favourite design.

Thanks again to every business supporter who entered our team card draw to win our main shirt sponsorship.

The girls’ new look 2026/27 main home shirt will include the logos for PAWS - Petsitting and Walking Services and The George Inn, Barton 😊🩷 🐾 🍽️

Now, if only we had a new playing kit design to go with them… 👀 🤔👕

21 businesses entered our team card draw, and thanks to their superb support we’ll be kitting the girls out in a new playing kit for next season 😊

After our team card scratch card draw, the new shirt will bear the main logo of PAWS - Petsitting and Walking Services 🩷🐾

Our other 20 business entrants were entered into a draw to win the sleeve sponsor spot and we’re very pleased to announce that the The George Inn, Barton will appear on the sleeve of the girls shirt next season.

Every business supporter that entered will also each sponsor one of our registered team next season and receive a special mention on our social media every time that player scores a goal or receives player of the match.

Thanks again to every business that offered their support to the girls as they prepare to take on the East Riding Girls league next season.

Main Shirt Sponsor 🥁 …

Last month we reached out to local businesses in an effort to raise funds towards a new playing kit for Barton Girls U14’s (soon to be Barton Girls U15’s) as we continue our preparations for next season.

We were blown away by the response and 21 businesses from Barton, Brigg, Barnetby, Elsham, Grimsby, Barrow, Goxhill and across Lincs offered their support.

After an overwhelming response it gives us great pleasure to hand over to team captains Flo and Lyla to introduce our 2026/27 main shirt sponsor ⚽️🐾 (P.S. the captains did it in less than 5 takes… just 🎥 😆).

After our most successful season to date, every single member of the squad deserved to share the plaudits at last night’s end of season awards, the “OGs”, those in their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and our newest members. Every single one of them played their part and deserved to come together to celebrate their achievements.

A special thank you also to our parents, business sponsors, and you, our supporters.

2025/26 season review in numbers:

🏆🏆 Twice as many wins
🥅 17 more goals than the season before
🏃‍♂️ A cup ‘run’ that saw us topple the eventual league winners in Round 1

… and amongst the stats, a team that wins and loses together, strives for progress over perfection, and shares, and enjoys a love for the game.
