Football is what brought us together, but it’s the memories we make along the way that make our club so special. 🖤🧡

Who remembers the eclipse, we definitely do!

Watching all of our children come together, celebrating something as incredible as an eclipse, laughing, cheering and simply enjoying being kids… 🥹🌑✨

These are the moments they’ll remember.

Because being part of our club isn’t just about football. ⚽️

We want our kids to look back and remember more than the goals they scored and the games they played.

We want them to remember the people, the laughter, the adventures and the feeling of being part of something.

And this right here… is exactly why we do what we do.

My child wants to be a professional footballer ⚽

Well there’s a 0.01% chance your child will make it as a professional footballer.

So do you stop letting them play, because the odds are against them?

No.

You keep them playing, not for the 0.01%, but for everything else sport gives them.

Because this is what happens when a child plays sport.

🖤They tend to do better in the classroom.

🧡They’re mentally healthier, with lower rates of anxiety and depression that can carry into adulthood.

🖤They build confidence, resilience and self-esteem.

🧡They learn how to lose, how to pick themselves back up, and how to try again.

🖤They learn leadership, teamwork, discipline, commitment and accountability. The things that matter long after they’ve stopped playing.

🧡They make friends. They find belonging. They learn what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.

So will your child go pro?

Almost certainly not.

But that was never the point.

The point is who they become along the way.

Under-6s Development Sessions

Is your child heading into year 1?
This is for you 👇👇👇

What Your Child Needs

🦵 Shin pads – required for football.
👟 Suitable footwear – trainers or football boots suitable for the playing surface - grass or 3G
🧦 Football socks – long enough to cover shin pads.
💧 Named water bottle – bring plenty of water.
🧥 Weather-appropriate clothing – layer up, coats, hat/gloves or sun protection as needed.
😊 Most importantly, come ready to have fun, learn, make friends and have a go!

For many children, this will be a big step. They may be moving up from Little Ballerz, or they may never have attended a structured football session before. Moving to two hours of football a week, outdoors, can take some time to adjust to.

Some children may need a little extra support, encouragement and patience during this transition. That's completely normal. Our coaches will help them settle in, build confidence and enjoy their football.

Trust the process, this year will get them ready. Just take a look at last year's under 6s.👏

What a Weekend of Football! ⚽️🖤🧡

What a fantastic weekend across every section of our football club! From our tiniest players taking their first steps with a ball to our walking team competing in their monthly league, there was something for everyone. 🙌

Saturday⚽

🧡 Little Ballerz
Our Little Ballerz, aged 2–5 years old, continued learning the fundamentals of ball play through fun, engaging sessions, with a few water balloons thrown in for good measure! 😂💦 The perfect way to enjoy football and make some memories.

Our U11s, who actually have lots of U10s within the group, attended a friendly round robin. It gave us the opportunity to put two full teams into action and provide the children with some fantastic football experience. Plenty of football, learning and development!

Another fantastic training session for our U8s. The group are really starting to bond, they are working hard together and finding their feet on the pitch. It's fantastic to see their confidence growing as this is only their 3 session! 👏

Our U7s played a friendly and showed just how much they have grown over the summer. Every player should be incredibly proud of their achievements today, as are we! 👏

Our development children worked on the fundamentals of 3v3 football, and it was amazing to see just how much they learned in only an hour! We're so excited to work with these children over the next year as we help prepare them for grassroots football. 🌱⚽️

Our walking team competed in their monthly league, with plenty of touches, passes, goals and, as always, lots of laughter! That's what football is all about.

Our football timetable will take a break this week, with normal activities restarting the week commencing 31st August. ⚽️

Our grassroots teams will still need to keep an eye on their group messages, as we have a few friendlies booked in. For anything you need clarified, please contact your team’s coach or message the page.

However we’re very excited to come back and get started on our first ever grassroots season ⚽️🙌
