Wishing the best of luck to three of our members Lorraine O'Neill, Julie Flood and Tracey McArdle, who this weekend will be competing in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice, France! 🇫🇷🌟🎉

Well done to Armagh A.C.'s Stefan Kennedy who came 6th (out of 1395 finishers!) at today's Laganside 10k in Belfast, organised by North Belfast Harriers! 👏🏻🥳

The sun shone this morning for the Friends of Lisa fundraising walk at St Colmcille's Grange for our club member Lisa McKeever, and it was lovely to see so many people turn up to show her support.

BBC Radio Ulster's Connor Phillips was the MC and we were treated to live music, tea, coffee, scones & buns in the marquee and clubhouse, an ice-cream van, face-painting and children's games outside, but most of all great company all around.

Thank you to all who supported the event in any way and we continue to remember Lisa & family in our prayers and give our best wishes for her continued recovery. 💚💙

Congratulations to Peter from Armagh A.C. who came a brilliant 3rd 🥉 in the Under 15 Pentathlon at the NI and Ulster Combined Events Championships at the Mary Peters Track last weekend! 🥳🎉

Fantastic work from Peter who competed in 5 track and field events to complete the Pentathlon:
• 800m
• 80m Hurdles
• Shot Putt
• Long Jump
• High Jump

Well done on all your hard work Peter, to practise and hone so many skills and achieve a great result at this high level! 👏🏻💪🏼🎉🏃🏼🎽💚💙

It is great to see how other cities encourage physical activity & utilise space - did you know that Budapest's National Athletics Centre has a completely free to use, 650 metre rooftop running track, 40m above the ground? 😃 Maybe Armagh could get one around the Athletic Grounds? 😉😜 Well all ideas are welcome!

Heading out this weekend to the 'Queen of the Danube' in Hungary are Armagh A.C. athletes Evanna Fitzsimons and Jacqueline Wright, ready to take on the Budapest Half Marathon on Sunday!

Running in central Europe's fourth largest city they'll experience elegant, centuries-old architecture in the scenic hills of Buda and the plains of Pest. The two halves of this great city are joined together by 15 bridges crossing the Danube, Europe's second longest river, which is also the most international river in the world, flowing through no less than 10 countries!

It will no doubt be a fabulous experience and we all wish them the best of luck & good weather! 😃⛅️💪🏼🏃🏻‍♀️🏃‍♀️🇭🇺💚💙 Good luck ladies!

As you are waking up, you can bet that someone somewhere has just finished a marathon!
Today it is at one of the World Major marathons in Sydney, Australia, and the successful athletes are Armagh A.C.'s own Declan Toal (Bert) and his daughter Niamh - congratulations!! 😃🎉🥳
Well done to you both for completing a gruelling, yet beautifully set 26.2 miles, amongst over 40,000 other long distance runners from over 140 countries!
Come on Armagh! 👏💪🏼👏💚💙
