Wellington Riding is one of the UK’s leading equestrian training & international competition centre.

Training people and horses since the early 1970s, Wellington Riding is one of the UK’s biggest and best-known equestrian centres. Set in 300 acres of the Duke of Wellington’s beautiful Hampshire estate, we are a British Horse Society Approved Riding School, Livery Yard and ‘Where to Train’ Centre to BHSI. Our superb Junior Courses bring children from all over the world for residential riding holidays. Adult tailor-made courses are designed to enhance riding and horse care at any level. Clinics, affiliated and unaffiliated shows are held throughout the year. We have a fantastic range of facilities, over 70 well schooled horses and ponies and BHS trained and qualified staff. Whether you are a total beginner, a competent rider improving your dressage and jumping skills, or training towards professional qualifications, we can improve your horsemanship in a friendly, safe environment.

Following our exciting announcement, here are three clever features of our new ECB Equine Spa & Aqua Treadmill! 🐴

❤️ Every heartbeat counts
Ours will include heart rate monitoring, allowing our team to see how each horse responds during exercise and track their sessions over time.

🌊 Water depth makes a difference
Adjustable water levels let us vary the resistance and buoyancy, creating a controlled workout that supports muscle development while reducing impact on the limbs.

📲 A programme of their own
The treadmill can store up to 1,000 individual programmes, with adjustable speed, water depth and session length. That means consistent sessions tailored to each horse and their stage of training.

From grassroots partnerships to competition horses, we’re excited to bring a new dimension to equine care and performance at Wellington Riding.
