🏉 KIDS IN YEAR 3 GOING INTO YEAR 4? 🏉

Do you have a child who is currently in year 3 moving into year 4 in September who is interested in a new trying a new sport?
Well this summer is the PERFECT time for them to start rugby at Amber Valley RUFC 🖤💛

Boys and girls are welcome with no previous rugby experience needed! We have a great group of kids, coaches and families ready to welcome new players and parents into the team 👊

Rugby is a great sport for:

Training over the summer will focus on teaching basic skills, bringing the team together and having fun in preparation for the next season to start in September.

Just a brilliant group of kids, coaches and families ready to welcome new players into the team 👊

Starting over the summer gives players chance to:

The earlier players start over the summer, the easier it is for our coaches to help them settle in, build confidence and get used to the games and training before the new season begins.

Reminder that our raffle to win a framed, signed England men’s shirt from the 2024/25 squad is still open but time is running out to get your tickets!

This amazing prize has been donated by club sponsors Sutton Auto Factors and AIPS!

Tickets are just £2 each and can be purchased at the clubhouse or from club members!

The prize will be drawn on this years Presidents Day on SATURDAY 6TH JUNE!

⚫️🟡 PRESIDENTS DAY 🟡⚫️

Reminder that THIS SATURDAY is our annual club Presidents Day!

Presidents Day is all about bringing all of our Valley teams and supporters together for an amazing day of fun, games and laughter!

🏉 We’ll have minis and juniors games kicking off from 12pm including a kids vs parents game and kids vs coaches game!

🏉 The men and women will then be battling it out against each other in a game of touch rugby kicking off at 2pm! With pride at stake it’s guaranteed to get very competitive (and likely a bit less touch rugby and more contact).

All teams will be playing in fancy dress to make it even more entertaining!

The bar will be open throughout the day and well into the evening. There will also be other games going on like tug of war and a bouncy castle for the kids - that’s if they can get the adults off it!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Reminder that we will also be drawing the raffle to see who has won the signed England mens shirt! There’s still time to get your tickets for this - just purchase them from the club or drop us a message!

Make sure you get yourselves down for what is always a great day at Valley! Everyone is invited!

🏆 SENIOR MENS & WOMENS PRESENTATION 🏆

Last night the senior mens and womens teams came together to celebrate the end of their 2025/26 season and what a night it was! Safe to say there were some very sore heads this morning! 🍻

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to all who won awards - all so very well deserved and so inspiring to see so many new players picking up awards!

Thank you to Ormonde Fields Golf Club for hosting us! An even bigger thank you once again to our incredible club sponsors for supporting the club and players this season! It was so great to have some of you there celebrating with us!

We now look forward to our clubs Presidents day on Saturday 6th June!

⚫️🟡 TRAINING NIGHT ⚫️🟡

Tonight our Under 18 girls, senior men and senior women will be taking to the pitches for training!

🏉 UNDER 18 GIRLS – 6-7pm

🏉 MENS TEAM - 7 - 8pm

🏉 WOMEN’S TEAM – 7–8:30pm

Our teams are always keen to welcome new players, so why not come down and give rugby a go? No prior experience is needed!

With a few months before the 2026/27 season starts now is the perfect time to join as the teams will be working hard on fitness, team building and skills.

Our fantastic coaches will guide you every step of the way, and you’ll be supported by a great group of teammates throughout each session.

No matter your age or ability, there’s a place for you at Valley!
