Have you ever thought of giving rugby a try? Now is the perfect time to come and join us!

Here at Amber Valley our super friendly and welcoming women’s team are looking for new players to join them! Whether you’ve played before or have never picked up a rugby ball we’d love to meet you!

✅ No experience needed
✅ All fitness levels welcome
✅ Supportive and inclusive environment
✅ Great way to get fit, make friends and have fun
✅ Perfect for building confidence

Women’s training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings 7-8:30pm at Amber Valley Rugby Club, DE55 4NQ.

Our players and coaches are passionate about helping everyone to develop at their own pace so that they fall in love with rugby and the close family feel that it brings!

Our womens team will be playing in the Inner Warrior Series next season which is perfect for new and developing players!

Tonight’s men’s training has been cancelled. After a very heavy weekend on tour and a delayed flight home there are some sore bodies and heads being nursed.

The women’s and girls training will be on as normal!

⚫️🟡 TRAINING NIGHT ⚫️🟡

Tonight our Under 18 girls, senior men and senior women will be taking to the pitches for training! With a few months until the 2026/27 season starts the teams are making an early start on their pre season training which will be focusing on fitness, basic skills and team building!

🏉 UNDER 18 GIRLS – 6-7pm

🏉 MENS TEAM - 7 - 8pm

🏉 WOMEN’S TEAM – 7–8:30pm

Our teams are always keen to welcome new players, so why not come down and give rugby a go? No prior experience is needed!
Our fantastic coaches will guide you every step of the way, and you’ll be supported by a great group of teammates throughout each session.

No matter your age or ability, there’s a place for you at Valley!

🏉 YEAR 4 GOING YEAR 5 IN SEPTEMBER? 🏉

This summer is the PERFECT time to start rugby at Amber Valley RUFC 🖤💛

No experience needed.
No pressure.
Just a brilliant group of kids, coaches and families ready to welcome new players into the team 👊

Starting over the summer gives players chance to:
🏉 Make new mates
🏉 Learn the basics
🏉 Build confidence
🏉 Get involved before the September move into Year 5
🏉 Become part of a brilliant rugby community

The earlier players start over the summer, the easier it is for our coaches to help them settle in, build confidence and get used to the games and training before the new season begins.

Training is fun, energetic and welcoming, with loads of games, laughs and plenty of support from the coaching team.

📍 Training Times:
🏉 Wednesdays at 6pm
🏉 Sundays at 10am

And one thing rugby does brilliantly…
The kids aren’t the only ones that make friends, the parents do too 🍔🍺🏉

🏉 CLUB SPONSORSHIP 🏉

We’re looking to link up with some local individuals / businesses who would be interested in sponsoring our rugby club for the 2026/27 season!

As a grass roots club with men’s, women’s and mini’s/juniors teams we rely on the generosity of sponsors in order to buy new training equipment, kit and maintain our clubhouse.

We have 3 standard sponsorship packages on offer however you could also choose to sponsor us via purchasing a specific piece of equipment or kit. Our sponsorship packages are:

⭐️ BRONZE - £200 sponsorship. In return you we will include your company name on our weekly social media game posts and you’ll receive an invite to our end of season sponsors day!

⭐️ SILVER - £500 sponsorship. In return you’ll receive both of the bronze package rewards as well as free use of our function room for events and tickets to our end of season presentation evening!

⭐️ GOLD - £750 sponsorship packages. In return you’ll receive all of the bronze and silver rewards and in addition advertising space on the outside of the clubhouse and entry into ballots for international game tickets!

The women are back at Chesterfield Pride again today with the Valley stand on show! If you’re around head over to the stand and say hi to them!

They’ve got some great merchandise on sale and a ‘spin the wheel game’ where you can win prizes or take on a challenge against one of the team!
