The announcement I put on my story the other day and it comes with a heavy heart. The Sandflail stock I have left will be the last for the foreseeable future. I will still do the parablocks and other wooden fitness tools but with the rising costs of everything from the materials, manufacturing and all the tarrifs that slowed everything down for a good while. All the extra costs and the fact I have a new baby to look after and another job it’s just not really justifiable right now. It takes a lot of time, effort & money to keep this business going with all the design work, content creation, web upkeep and I just don’t have that time anymore. Almost 8 years is pretty darn good and I thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart. Making my creation do so well and go so far and sell across the whole world! You made a normal guy from Scotland very happy and I got to know and connect with so many amazing people along the way. So the stock I have left will be it for a good while at the very least. The site will stay open for a good while until the last of the stock goes. So grab one if you ever wanted one!

Support Small Businesses. I know it’s more expensive to buy from smaller businesses, there’s many reasons for that. If everything becomes mass manufactured by machines (mostly overseas) then most if not all small businesses will disappear. We need to support the small businesses doing something different/unique. I’ve seen so many businesses go under over the last 5-10 years, and a lot of them are ones that had amazing ideas, products & services. They just couldn’t compete with the big mass manufactured corporations. I mean go on alibaba and you’ll find 90% of all fitness products that are sold throughout the world just waiting for a generic logo to slapped onto it.

I know times are tough, they are for me too. I personally have this Sandflail business with a few products but I have about 10 products I want to release but being a very small business run solely by myself, I’m creating unique products that takes a lot of time, effort and money to firstly get eyes on it and then teach people how to best use it. I’m very lucky as most people who get a Sandflail in their hands can instantly tell how good a tool it is & how it offers a stimulus that is unique even in the circular training world. I still work a second job to support my family.

But I think if we can all help out a small business when possible it would go a long way. The Sandflail its self supports 4 small businesses, makes my costs way higher than getting things made & imported from China but I’m just trying to do my bit where possible. Nowadays it isn’t even possible to get something made in your own country due to so much industry dying off.

I just see where everything is going and I don’t like it. So if you can please buy from a local or small business. Trust me sometimes getting a sale at the right time can really change someone’s year.

Announcement! Black Multicam Circular Sandflail available in the store tomorrow! Only the Shorty Length will be available but will come in the Small, Medium & Large options. It will be available to buy in a kit with the new cork pommel/grip stopper in the drop down menu in the store so no need to go add them to the cart separately. The cork pommel has become something I almost always use now, almost an essential accessory to really get the best out of your Sandflail.

Now I have access to a workshop again expect a lot more creations. I spent many months in a workshop trying out every different dimension, materials, tools, shapes etc to get these things just right, trust me every millimetre in these things has been designed exactly the way it needs to be. A rerelease of one of my creations: The Parablocks Standard. I created these about 5 years ago now at the same time I created the Original PARABLOCKS The Bricks. I love both versions and alternate between them all the time for the different feel. These will be available to buy very soon.
