Raid in France is the french leg of the adventure racing world series (ARWS). Join us in 2023 for the ARWS European Championship, from September 29 to October 1st.

Jagged granite peaks, towering cliffs and breathtaking landscapes… The Aiguilles de Bavella provided the ARWC 2026 athletes with one of the most spectacular sections of their journey across Corsica.

During a gruelling 72 km trek with 4,320 metres of elevation gain, the teams made their way through a landscape as magic as it was demanding.⛰️

🌊 Maquis, salt on your skin and the sea stretching to the horizon…

Between Saint-Florent and Ostriconi beach, ARWC 2026 teams explored the Agriate coastline on foot. A trek where beautiful scenery accompanied every step, even as tired legs grew heavy.

To prepare this trekking section, we were able to count on the support of the Cap Corse and Agriate Marine Nature Park. A valued partner dedicated to understanding and protecting marine habitats that are as rich as they are fragile. 🐟🌿

Thank you to the whole Park team for helping us organise this adventure. Sharing these places also means reminding ourselves how much care they deserve. 💙

In the heart of Corte’s citadel, the ARWC 2026 prologue brought together two kinds of energy: athletes ready to journey across Corsica, and children thrilled to share this opening chapter with them. ❤️

⚡ Racers powered by their legs. Behind the scenes, powered by electricity!

During ARWC 2026, there were transition areas to reach, equipment to transport, and all the twists and turns of the race to follow on Corsica’s roads… An adventure for those working behind the scenes too!

With E‑motum and Hertz, partners of this edition, electric vehicles helped the media and organising teams get around, supported by E‑motum’s charging network across the island. 🚗🔌

Some finish lines are impossible to describe with words. ❤️

After everything they have been through, the emotions, the exhaustion, the doubts, and the unforgettable moments, the finish line becomes so much more than the end of a race.

For the East Wind team, it was a moment filled with pride, relief, joy, and tears. A moment to realise what they had achieved, what they had overcome, and what this incredible adventure meant to them.

This is adventure racing at its purest. Not just about the finish, but about the journey, the team, and the emotions that stay with you long after the race is over.

Corsica, you gave them memories for a lifetime. 🏁❤️

There are finish lines you cross with tears in your eyes. ❤️
In L’Île-Rousse, the final metres of ARWC 2026 brought every barrier down. Tight embraces. Laughter and tears. Sometimes, no words come.
Those embraces hold days and nights of effort. Doubts, mutual support, and the strength found in others when your own was fading.
And suddenly, you can let it all go. Reunite with loved ones. Look at your teammates. Realise just how far you’ve come, together.
Thank you to all the teams for these moments of emotion that will stay with us for a long time. ✨
