A new chapter for Intoosurf.

Our new surfhouse is now part of the Intoosurf experience, and we're excited to give you a little glimpse of what it feels like to stay here.

With its Andalusian charm, spacious indoor and outdoor areas, sunny pool and relaxed atmosphere, it's a place to slow down, connect and recharge between surf sessions.

Whether you're travelling solo, as a couple or with a small group of friends, our idea remains the same: personal surf coaching, small groups and more time to enjoy what really matters.

A little reminder about surf etiquette.

At some point, everyone makes a mistake and drops in on someone. It happens.

What matters is what you do next. A quick “Sorry” and a bit of awareness go a long way.

There’s a difference between an honest mistake and simply not caring. Own it, give the other surfer some respect, and keep the vibe good.

Stormrider.

Somewhere beyond the horizon,
a storm shaped this moment.

Not for us.
Not for today.
Not for any destination at all.

Yet here it is.

A clean line arriving from far beyond sight,
carrying the energy of a distant weather system
across an entire ocean.

A reminder that some of the most beautiful things in life
begin far away from where we finally meet them.

Sometimes all we have to do
is be present when they arrive.

We come for the waves.

And after a good session, there is often something special in the air.

A guitar appears. Someone starts singing. Conversations drift into the sunset.

Maybe it's the waves. Maybe it's the ocean. Maybe it's simply the feeling we bring back to shore after hours in the water.

Whatever it is, it's often these simple moments that make a great surf day feel complete.

A few days ago, it was World Oceans Day.

Countless images were shared. Beautiful words were written. Promises were made. And yet, every day, the ocean continues to be exploited through overfishing, pollution and a way of living that often takes more than it gives back.

Sometimes I wonder if the ocean really needs more people claiming they want to save it. Maybe what it needs instead are more people remembering that we are all a part of it.

We all come from the ocean. Long before there were forests, cities or human beings, there was the sea. Every drop flowing through our bodies today has been part of clouds, rivers and oceans countless times before, and one day it will find its way back again.

The ocean gives us food, oxygen, waves, rain and life itself. It doesn't need heroes. It needs people willing to listen.

Grateful for every wave, every breath and every drop of life it continues to give.

After a good surf session, this bowl regularly finds its way onto my table.

This version of the classic salmorejo is made with beetroot instead of tomatoes and, as you can see, topped a little differently.

Not only incredibly tasty, but also perfect after a long day in the ocean.

Starting next season, it will become one of the dishes you'll find regularly on our dinner table at Intoosurf.

This recipe will also be part of the upcoming Intoosurf Soul Food Cookbook.
