A vital victory on a rainy Sunday keeps the 1st team on course for promotion.

We started strongly, controlling possession and putting pressure on the opposition's back line. Our breakthrough came after a mistake in their build-up play, when Nikos won a penalty following a handball inside the box. Rodrigo converted at the second attempt after the goalkeeper initially made the save.

YU were reduced to ten men after a red card, but before halftime Leo was also sent off after a challenge that seemed harshly punished, leaving both teams with ten players.

The second half was more open, but Rafal remained solid whenever called upon. We eventually took advantage of the spaces left by the opposition, and Vaggelis sealed the win with a composed one-on-one finish to make it 2–0.

A crucial three points and one step closer to promotion. One final challenge remains: Nørrebro United on Saturday at 12:00.

Our second 11-a-side team ended its league campaign with a narrow 3–2 defeat against Fix 3.

We took the lead through Diogo, whose long-range strike found the net despite a slow start. Fix 3 responded strongly and turned the game around with two goals to make it 1–2. However, we grew into the match and finished the first half on top, controlling possession and creating pressure. Our improvement was rewarded when Miguel headed home from a corner to level the score at 2–2 before halftime.

The second half was more evenly contested, but as fatigue set in, Fix 3 gradually gained the upper hand and scored what proved to be the winner. Injuries disrupted our rhythm in the closing stages, and despite our efforts, we were unable to find an equalizer.

An unpleasant result, but a much-improved performance after a difficult start.

A hard-fought 2–2 draw against HB 9 in a tightly balanced match.

We started brightly and took an early lead through Adam, who finished a powerful solo effort with a low, driven strike. HB 9 responded quickly, leveling the score with a well-placed header from a cross.

Before halftime, Alfonso put us back in front after winning and calmly converting a penalty to make it 2–1. The game remained intense after the break, with both sides sharing possession and creating chances, but HB 9 struck again with a long-range effort to equalize.

Down to ten players in the final stages, we showed real character under pressure. HB 9 pushed hard for a winner, but strong defensive work from Edo and George kept them at bay. In the dying moments, Diogo nearly snatched all three points from a corner, but his shot went just wide.

A competitive, physical game ends level — a fair result, but one that could easily have gone our way.

Excellent performance this past Wednesday against Amandas Sønner, a team that is always especially tough to face at home. Despite the challenge, we controlled the match throughout the full 90 minutes. Our ball circulation was smooth, and we consistently found spaces between their defensive lines.

As a result of that pressure, Kimonas opened the scoring with a stunning strike following a corner rebound. His powerful and precise shot from the edge of the box surprised the goalkeeper at the near post. A well-deserved lead that Lipa later doubled after a beautiful team move, finishing calmly at the near post. Just before halftime, Rafal preserved our advantage with a fantastic save in a one-on-one situation.

In the second half, we maintained our dominance, and Lipa made it 0–3 with a simple finish into an empty net. We continued creating chances, but the game became more difficult after we were reduced to nine players following some questionable yellow cards shown to Kimonas and Joan.

Even with two men down, we stayed composed and conceded very few opportunities. The few chances Amandas Sønner managed to create were confidently dealt with by an excellent Rafal.

Another important victory to keep our strong form going. Two games remain until the end of the league season.

A loss for the second team against B 1908 this past Sunday. Their high pressing caught us by surprise and proved more effective than our build-up style of play, which meant that the opening 25 minutes were played mostly in our own half. As a result, their goal came from a corner that we failed to defend properly.

Little by little, we started gaining ground and approached the B 1908 goal more frequently, although we were unable to create any truly clear-cut chances before halftime.

The second half was a different story. Our number of shots and territorial dominance increased significantly, but we still struggled to seriously test the goalkeeper. We tried from both close and long range, and in the final moments we had a huge opportunity to equalize, but unfortunately we couldn’t convert it.

Crucial win for the first team on Saturday. We faced Amalie BK, second in the league and one of the strongest contenders this season. We got off to the perfect start by opening the scoring very early in the game. After a rebound at the far post, Lipa brilliantly struck the ball with his right foot, placing it perfectly beyond the goalkeeper’s reach.

As the match progressed, Amalie BK gained momentum and pushed us deeper into our own half. Simon produced a fantastic save in a one-on-one situation thanks to his excellent positioning. Despite Amalie’s pressure and intensity, we still created the clearest chances. Nikos was denied in a one-on-one after attempting a lob over the keeper, and the same pattern continued in the second half.

Nikos then hit the post with an excellent long-range effort, while Thanos narrowly missed from close range, sending the ball just wide of the far post. More opportunities came as Amalie left spaces in defense, but we couldn’t capitalize further. Although Simon was not called into action too often, he remained solid and reliable throughout the match.

An important victory that puts us back in second place!

Excellent game played this past Sunday. We faced a strong contender, Valby United, under perfect weather conditions. From the very beginning, we completely dominated the match, controlling possession and creating numerous chances. We even scored twice, but both goals were disallowed for questionable offsides. Despite that, we stayed focused and kept pressing high. Chances continued to come, although we couldn’t convert them before halftime. We went into the break knowing we needed to finish the job.

And we did exactly that in the second half. After twenty minutes, George cleverly scored with a backward header following a beautiful team combination, leaving the defender unable to clear the ball. The goal boosted our confidence, and as the opponent started leaving more space at the back, Nikos sealed the victory with two well-taken goals, both assisted by George.

Near the end, we conceded a penalty that Valby United converted to grab a consolation goal.

A great victory overall, and now we look ahead to the next big challenge: Amalie BK!
