RED BULL RING SUCCESS 🇦🇹🏆

Formula Racing continued its strong momentum in Ferrari Challenge Europe this past weekend as the Danish squad celebrated an impressive weekend at Austria’s Red Bull Ring with one victory and four additional podium finishes across the third round of the 2026 season.

The highlight came in Saturday’s Trofeo Pirelli race, where Danish driver Anders Bidstrup claimed a superb class victory after starting from the front row. Fellow Dane Jacob Bidstrup also completed a strong race for Formula Racing by securing third place – meaning both brothers shared the podium together!

In Coppa Shell Am, Hong Kong driver Charles Chan secured pole position before claiming two second-place finishes across the weekend, while Japanese driver Masaru Yoneda added another podium result with third place in Saturday’s race. Danish driver Henrik Kamstrup showed promising pace before retiring from the opening race and later fighting back to finish Sunday’s race in 11th place.

In Coppa Shell, Hong Kong driver Eric Cheung continued his strong season with valuable points-scoring finishes in fifth and seventh place, while Japanese driver Ken Seto also secured important championship points with sixth and seventh-place finishes.

The results move Anders Bidstrup up to fourth in the Trofeo Pirelli Am standings, while Eric Cheung remains third in Coppa Shell. Charles Chan now sits second overall in the Coppa Shell Am championship, and Formula Racing has climbed to second place in the teams’ standings – just nine points from the championship lead.

“Fantastic results from the entire team, both the drivers and the crew in the garage. Seeing both Bidstrup brothers on the podium together – with Anders taking victory – was a special moment for all of us and shows what dedication and hard work can achieve,” says Race & Event Executive at Formula Racing, Thor Qualmann.

The next round of Ferrari Challenge Europe takes place at the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe during the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans weekend.

RACE WEEKEND – RED BULL RING 🇦🇹😎

After strong performances in the opening two rounds of the Ferrari Challenge Europe season, Formula Racing heads to Austria this weekend for round three of the championship at the iconic Red Bull Ring. Last seen on the Ferrari Challenge Europe calendar in 2023, the 4.318-kilometre Austrian circuit presents a demanding challenge for both drivers and the Ferrari 296 Challenge machinery.

“Red Bull Ring is a fantastic venue in stunning surroundings and a circuit which suits the Ferrari Challenge series really well. Once again, we have a very strong lineup of drivers who have all shown strong pace in the opening rounds, and we’re highly motivated to continue the positive momentum and secure more valuable points for both the drivers’ and team championships,” says Race & Event Executive at Formula, Thor Qualmann.

Formula Racing will once again field an impressive nine-driver lineup across three classes. In the Pirelli Am class, Danish brothers Anders and Jacob Bidstrup line up alongside Japan’s Nobuhiro Imada.

The Coppa Shell Am class features Denmark’s Henrik Kamstrup, Japan’s Masaru Yoneda and Hong Kong’s Charles Chan. Kamstrup in particular has enjoyed an excellent opening to the season and currently sits among the top drivers in the championship battle.

In Coppa Shell, Japan’s Ken Seto joins former series champion Eric Cheung, who has continued his strong comeback season with front-running pace in the first two rounds and remains firmly in contention near the top of the standings.

GRAZIE MILLE, MUGELLO 🇮🇹😍

Recap on another intense and hard-fought weekend in the Ferrari Challenge Europe! Round two of the 2026 season at Mugello brought plenty of strong performances and valuable points for Formula Racing.

In Coppa Shell, Eric Cheung and Ken Seto both delivered solid results across the two races. Cheung showed strong pace throughout the weekend, qualifying on the front row on Saturday before finishing P5, followed by a P6 on Sunday. Seto, meanwhile, made steady progress with a P7 on Saturday and an impressive recovery drive to P4 on Sunday after starting from P8.

In the Coppa Shell Am class, Charles Chan once again demonstrated consistency with two strong drives, climbing from P12 to P5 on Saturday and securing another competitive fourth-place finish on Sunday. Masaru Yoneda added valuable points with a P9 on Saturday and a P6 on Sunday, while Henrik Kamstrup followed up his strong opening round with a P6 finish on Saturday. The Dane then finished P12 in Sunday’s race after a solid effort.

The highlight of the weekend came in the Pirelli Am class, where Nobuhiro Imada secured an excellent, trophy-rewarding second place on Saturday after qualifying on the front row. Sunday’s race also started out with another strong qualifying performance but ended with a DNF after contact with a competitor at the start.

Jacob Bidstrup showed great determination across both races, improving from P7 on Saturday to a strong P5 finish on Sunday – while brother Anders Bidstrup also collected valuable points with a P8 on Saturday and P7 on Sunday in a competitive field.

All in all, a weekend that underlined the team’s consistency and fighting spirit across the board. With strong performances in every class, Formula Racing remains firmly in the mix as the season progresses.

We now look ahead to the next round of Ferrari Challenge Europe, taking place at the Red Bull Ring on May 16–17, where the team will be aiming to convert strong pace into podium finishes once again.

RACE WEEKEND – PAUL RICARD 😍🇫🇷

Back on track! We’re excited to kick off the first round of the 2026 Ferrari Challenge this weekend at Paul Ricard in Southern France. Our Formula Racing drivers, engineers, technicians and crew members are eager to return to the paddock after a (much too) long winter break.

This season we will visit seven different tracks – from Portimão in the west to the Hungaroring in the east – and the absolute highlight will be Le Mans during the 24-hour race week, where we will compete in front of a huge crowd.

“We can’t wait to get the horses out of the garage. It’s always exciting to kick off a new championship, and our drivers have arrived well prepared and are looking forward to getting behind the wheel of their 296 Challenge racers to fight for points and trophies,” says Race & Event Executive at Formula, Thor Qualmann.

At Paul Ricard this weekend, nine drivers will compete for Formula Racing across three different categories. WORLD CLASS FINALE 🏆🇮🇹🏆

And here’s the recap from the grand season finale of the Ferrari Challenge – the legendary World Finals – where drivers from both the European and North American series went head-to-head in front of 25,000 spectators, battling for the season’s most prestigious trophies. And once again, Formula Racing was right at the front!

John Dhillon delivered another brilliant performance, fighting his way from seventh on the grid to claim a fantastic third-place finish and a well-deserved spot on the podium. His teammate, Fabrizio Fontana, also looked set for a top result after qualifying third, but unfortunately, the Italian didn’t make it to the finish line this time.

In the Shell Am category, another Formula Racing driver claimed silverware as Lebanon’s Hassan Dabboussi took an outstanding second place in a wet and challenging race. Meanwhile, teammates Norikazu Shibata from Japan and Charles Chan from Hong Kong were forced to retire.

Japan’s Nobuhiro Imada wrapped up the World Finals with a strong sixth-place finish in the Pirelli Am class.

Well done, drivers – and once again, a huge thank-you to the entire team, our supporters, and partners for another Ferrari Challenge season to be proud of!

What a finale! Ferrari Challenge Europe wrapped up in style at the legendary Mugello Circuit last weekend – and what a weekend it was for Formula Racing!

First of all, a massive congratulations to our British rocket, John Dhillon, who clinched third place overall in the fiercely competitive Coppa Shell class after a fantastic season! Despite a tough start with a DNF in the opening race, Dhillon bounced back brilliantly to take fourth place in Sunday’s finale – enough to secure a well-deserved spot on the championship podium.

Dhillon wasn’t the only one lighting up Mugello. Italian driver Fabrizio Fontana capped off his season in style by winning the final race of the year and securing seventh place overall in the championship.

There was plenty to celebrate in the Shell Am class too, with all Formula Racing drivers finishing the season inside the top ten! Charles Chan from Hong Kong took sixth, followed by Narikazu Shibata from Japan in seventh, while Hassan Dabboussi from Lebanon rounded out the top ten – a fantastic result for the entire squad.

In the Pirelli Am class, Nobohiro Imada delivered another strong performance, taking third place in Saturday’s race to stand on the podium and finishing ninth overall in the standings.

And last but definitely not least – we did it as a team! Heading into the finale weekend sitting fourth in the team championship, Formula Racing fought hard to collect crucial points and ultimately climbed onto the championship podium as the third-best team in Ferrari Challenge Europe 2025!

A huge thank you to everyone – drivers, crew, engineers, coaches, fans and supporters – for making this an unforgettable season full of passion, teamwork, and results.

Recap and photos from the World Finals coming soon… stay tuned!
