🚨ExpressLRS 4.0.0 Safety Notice 🚨
⚠️ A critical issue in the ELRS 4.0.0 SX1280 transceiver driver has been identified and fixed.

The issue can cause:
❌ long failsafes
❌ random stick positions being sent to the flight controller.
❌ Possible loss of control
SX1280 hardware is widely used, including;
RadioMaster TX16S MK1/2, RP3-H, Nexus XR
Flydragon V2, V2.2, Pro
Goosky F701
Many other transmitter modules and receivers
✅ ELRS 4.0.0 users must upgrade to 4.0.1 immediately.
🛑 Do not continue to fly with 4.0.0.
After upgrading:
🔧 please bench test your models
📋 Verify receiver behavior
🚁 Confirm failsave and control response before flying

⚠️ This issue is not exclusive to Rotorflight, and has been observed with other systems. We recommend everyone upgrade all their 4.0.0 devices.
