🏉 Matchday Recap – April 18th in Lauf! 🏉

Last Saturday, our Erlangen squad took to the pitch in Lauf! We joined forces with our friends at Lauf and Coburg to compete as a combined team. The weather was absolutely perfect for rugby, setting the stage for a great atmosphere both on and off the pitch. ☀️🙌

We went head-to-head against a tough combined opposition in the Munich Monks and Würzburg. It was an action-packed contest, but our attack was firing on all cylinders. Thanks to a massive team effort and some brilliant running rugby, we came away with a dominant 63:22 victory!

Plenty of positives to take away from this one, and a fantastic foundation to build on. We’ll celebrate the win, put in the work at training, and keep this momentum going into the next one. 💪🏉

🏉 Matchday Recap – 15 November in Fürstenfeldbruck 🏉

Yesterday, our Erlangen squad travelled to Fürstenfeldbruck for a tournament hosted by FFB, joining forces with Lauf Rugby and Fürstenfeldbruck Rugby to compete as a combined side (SG).

In our first match against 1860 Munich & TSV Weilheim, we came out strong and held our ground in a tough contest — finishing with an 8:10 win.

Our second game against the Munich Monks was another intense battle, marked by solid defensive work and several sharp attacking moments. Despite the effort, this one ended 21:5 in their favour.

Plenty of positives, plenty to build on — we’ll take the lessons, put in the work, and come back even stronger. 💪🏉

🏉 Matchday Recap – 18 October in Munich 🏉

Last Saturday, our Erlangen rugby team travelled to Munich for a tournament hosted by TSV 1860.
We teamed up as a combined side (SG) together with StuSta Rugby and the Black’n’Blues, joining forces for a great day of rugby! 💙🖤🤍

In the first match against 1860 Munich, we started strong but couldn’t keep up the momentum against a well-organized opponent. Final score: 12–38.

The second game against the Munich Monks was tighter, with some solid defense and a few great attacking plays from our side. Despite a strong team effort, the game ended 12–22.

Even though the results didn’t go our way, it was a great day of rugby, teamwork, and shared spirit on and off the pitch. Thanks to our teammates from StuSta and Black’n’Blues for the awesome collaboration – and to our hosts for a fair and fun tournament! 💪

We’ll take the lessons, keep training hard, and come back stronger next time! 🔥
