Both HRT Ford Racing Mustang GT3 entries were eliminated at the start of today’s GT World Challenge Europe event at Nazionale Autodromo Monza as a result of a multi-car incident, which was no fault of their own.

Despite the magnitude of the accident, both Arjun Maini and Finn Wiebelhaus were able to get out of their cars under their own power. More to follow as it is available.

🤩IT’S POLE POSITION!
With a great performance, Arjun Maini, Fabio Scherer and Thomas Drouet claimed the pole position for today’s race at Monza with the Ford Mustang GT3 #64.
Finn Wiebelhaus, Eduardo Coseteng and Maxime Oosten rounded off the team effort with P1 in Silver Cup and P4 overall in sister car #65. After a penalty against a competitor, they will start from P3 in the grid.

🏁 RACEDAY 🏁
At 3:40 p.m., our two Ford Mustang GT3s will head into the three-hour race at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza to battle for points on the high-speed circuit.

But first, starting at 9:55 a.m., the three-session qualifying will get underway, where we’ll aim to secure good starting positions.

After solid results today, we’re feeling confident heading into tomorrow’s raceday.

Qualifying starts at 9:35 a.m. CEST, followed by the race at 3:30 p.m.

Ciao di Monza 🇮🇹
This weekend, the Temple of Speed welcomes the second round of the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup.

Today, free practice sessions are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. and 2:25 p.m. on the historic circuit. Tomorrow, things will get serious when we head into qualifying and the race with our two Ford Mustang GT3s.
