Welcome to the ADVANCE Team, Luke de Weert​ ! 🔥

Luke de Weert is a professional paraglider pilot from the Netherlands whose flying journey started at the age of 14 on the beaches near Alkmaar.

Driven by his passion for flying, determination and hard work, Luke fought his way to the top of the sport. His journey led to him becoming Acro World Tour Champion.

And now his journey comes full circle:
"The first glider my father ever saw, while my mother was still pregnant with me, was an ADVANCE glider. That glider inspired him to start flying. He's the reason I fly today."

We're incredibly proud to welcome Luke to the ADVANCE family and can't wait to share the next chapter of his story.

The Red Bull X-Alps Challenger brought together ambitious hike-and-fly athletes competing for a coveted wildcard entry to the next Red Bull X-Alps.

A huge congratulations to all our team pilots for taking on this incredible challenge and giving it their all. 👏

🏆 Romy Sweda claimed 1st place in the Women’s Ranking and earned her wildcard for X-Alps 2027.
