The World DanceSport Federation is the world governing body for DanceSport.

DanceSport is the all-encompassing brand for an activity that is accessible and sociable, and that allows for the participants to improve physical fitness and mental well-being, to interact, and to obtain results at all levels. The World DanceSport Federation unites all forms and styles of dance practised as sport under one umbrella, it serves as the single delivery system for sporting activities

that involve dance, and it seeks to multiply the quality opportunities for participation in DanceSport at all levels.
