An Update on Kilcona Outback:

Construction regarding the city's Kilcona Park redevelopment project is going to be starting the week of August 24th. This involves adding in a roadway, the demolition of the old harbour view complex and improvements to the dog park. This construction will keep this part of Kilcona Park quite busy over the next two years. This construction also requires us to temporarily close 4 holes at Outback (1,2,11,12,13,17 from main layout map).

The Kilcona Lakes course will not be affected!

This news is bittersweet, as it is a step towards getting a new layout and our new baskets in the ground at the park. Now that the city's plans are finalized we will be able to finalize an updated layout that accommodates the city's plans. Thank you all for your continued patience. DGM has launched a new initiative: Intro to Disc Golf workshops for community groups and schools. We’ve created a three-hour program template and hosted four workshops this season with two more booked for the coming months. We’re also grateful to the DGM community members who have indicated interest in supporting this initiative by being volunteer facilitators; if this is something you may be interested in, reach out to us at [email protected]!
