Heading down to Brooks, Alberta in the next little while and we’ll have room on the trailer for 4 or 5 horses in private stud stalls.

If you need a horse hauled to or from anywhere along the route, we’d be happy to help.

We’ll also have time to fit in a few first rides, c**t starts, or tune ups along the way if you’ve got a horse that could use some miles.

Safe and sound in Alaska.

We’re happy to say this talented 3 year old reining stud prospect has arrived at Alaska Horse Ranch and is settling into his new home.

It’s never easy saying goodbye to one you’ve watched develop, but there’s a lot of pride in seeing a good horse head to a program where he’ll have every opportunity to succeed. We have no doubt he’ll continue to grow and make us proud.

Congratulations to everyone at Alaska Horse Ranch, and thank you for putting your trust in our program. We wish you all the success in the world with this young stud and can’t wait to follow along as his journey continues.

The Smithers Fall Fair Rodeo is almost here, and we’re excited to be a part of it!

If you’re looking for something you don’t get to see every day, make sure you stop by the horse arena.

From Thursday through Sunday, we’ll be putting on live c**t starting demonstrations, taking young horses through the foundation of their training while explaining every step along the way. Whether you’ve owned horses your whole life or you’re simply curious about how they’re started, there’s something for everyone to learn.

Then on Monday, we’re opening our books for one hour First Ride sessions. Watch a horse take its very first steps under saddle, or bring your own c**t and let us help give them a quiet, confident start.

The Smithers Fall Fair has always been about showcasing agriculture, horsemanship, and Western heritage, and we’re proud to be part of this year’s lineup.

Come spend the day at the fair, support local agriculture, enjoy the rodeo, and stop by to say hello. We’d love to meet you.
