🏆 WESTLOCK DOES IT AGAIN! 🏆

What a year for senior baseball in Westlock!

Congratulations to the Grey Lions on winning the 2026 AWCBA Championship after a 2–0 victory over the Fort Saskatchewan Red Sox tonight!

With the Westlock Red Lions also bringing home a championship this season, both Westlock senior teams finish 2026 as champions!

Two teams. Two championships. One incredible year for baseball in Westlock. ⚾🏆

Congratulations to the Grey Lions and to the former Red Lions players who helped get it done!

⚾️ GAME 1 SUSPENDED DUE TO DARKNESS ⚾️

After 8 innings, the Westlock Red Lions and Parkland Twins remain tied, with darkness bringing Game 1 of the NCABL Championship Series to a halt.

📍 Henry Singer Field – Spruce Grove
⏰ Game 1 resumes tomorrow at 2:00 PM

Game 2 will follow immediately after the completion of Game 1.

Eight innings weren’t enough. We’ll settle it tomorrow. 🦁⚾️

We’re moving baseball registration payments to credit card payments to make life easier for everyone! It means less paperwork, easier tracking for each player, and no more chasing down late payments. Simple, quick, and much easier for our admin team to keep everything organized! ⚾️

‘Twas the last night of the 2026 WMBA season, the diamonds now rest,
After months of hard work, each team gave their best.
From first pitch to last out, what a journey it’s been,
With hustle, heart, and memories tucked deep within.
Ten baseball house teams took the field with great pride,
Three AA squads battled with Wild by their side.
Five softball house teams filled the diamonds with cheer,
While Four Rep teams chased dreams all season this year.
To every player, coach, board member, and fan so true,
Thank you for all that each of you do.
The games may end, the diamonds grow still,
But the Wild pride runs deep and always will.
Watch for registration early next year,
Old friends and new—we can’t wait to see you here!
Until then… thank you for an unforgettable 2026 season.

Sometimes baseball is decided by inches… and sometimes by the math……and we all hate math 😏

Our 15UAA Wild wrapped up Provincials with every team finishing 2-2. The final calculations kept the boys out of the gold medal game, but they left everything they had on the diamond. One unforgettable Provincials run. One incredible season. Way to be Wild, boys! ⚾️
