BC Rugby Names John Tait as CEO

The British Columbia Rugby Union (BC Rugby) is pleased to announce the appointment of John Tait as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. The announcement follows a thorough search process including numerous qualified candidates and caps a five-year journey with the organisation during which Tait has become an integral part of BC Rugby's leadership and success.

An excellent piece on Kootenays Rugby by Trixie Pacis for The Trench Magazine.

The 2026 Saratoga Cup did over 1.5 million digital impressions - to put that in perspective, we achieved 1.2 million impressions for the BC Rugby Senior Club Finals in May.

Incredible and well deserved for all those working so hard to grow Rugby throughout Northern/Interior BC, the Okanagan and the Kootenays.
