No. 2 Construction Battalion Athletic Facility – Track & Field Regionals Notice

The No. 2 Construction Battalion Athletic Facility will proudly host the School Sport Track & Field Regionals on Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23, 2026.

We’re excited to welcome athletes, coaches, families, and spectators from across the region for two days of competition and community spirit.

Best of luck to all participating athletes — we look forward to seeing some outstanding performances!

Please expect increased traffic in the surrounding area throughout the event.
If you are travelling nearby, plan ahead and allow extra travel time.

We also kindly ask attendees to be respectful of nearby homes and local businesses while visiting the facility.

Please note: Event officials will be using a starter’s pistol (blanks) during races. Nearby residents may hear sounds that resemble gunfire.

The winner of the Screen Nova Scotia Best Documentary award goes to "Apex: The Black Masters" by A+B Roll Films.

"Apex: The Black Masters" is a documentary that traces the 50-year story of the Apex Invitational Golf Tournament in Truro, Nova Scotia. Showing how it grew from a small 1974 meetup of Black golfers into a major, inclusive homecoming that honours African Nova Scotian culture.
