Now that OFSAA is over we focus on the elementary board championships. Our most exciting day of the year based on sheer numbers and depth/quality of performance is the DSBN Championships this Wednesday. We have 70 athletes competing in 158 different events (and many in relays as well). It will be a busy day and another shining moment for our community. A sweep is one of our favourite things to and we have several athletes where our athletes are poised to potentially sweep the podium. This is a testament to everyone’s hard work and the culture of fostering success and developing champions - with hard work and development that is age-appropriate for them and allows them to thrive. We are so excited and wishing everyone the very best!! 💙👏🏻💛 ⚔️🛡 🔷🔶

Ben B 🥇🥇🥇 in the Senior boys 1500, 400, 800 at the Group 6 meet. Ben was a good friend and helped out a teammate in the 1500; he then ran a solo 57 in the 400, before cruising to an easy 2:13 in the 800 90 minutes later. Big goals for Wednesday and it is one of the things we have been looking forward to for the last year!! 💙👏🏻💛 ⚔️🛡 🔷🔶

Ben brown had a great day with 🥇 in relay, 🥈 in the 800, 🥉 in the 1500 and 5th in the 200 - with some PB’s mixed in there - especially in the 1500 where he ran basically a perfect race. Way to go Ben! 💙👏🏻💛 ⚔️🛡 🔷🔶
