Some moments are simply meant to happen.

With his dad on the mic calling every ball, Josiah walked out and finished the job, hitting the winning runs for NCC Academy. You couldn't have scripted it any better. 💙🏏

A massive thank you to Joshua Noman and the entire Niagara Royals organizing committee for inviting us to be part of the Mayor's Cup. Your commitment to growing the game, creating opportunities for young cricketers, and continuing to empower women's cricket is something truly special.

This wasn't just another exhibition game. It was kids playing in front of a packed crowd, making memories they'll talk about for years, and falling even more in love with the game. That's what cricket is all about. 🙌

Really happy to have the Niagara Tuskers Cricket Club girls training with us over the last little while. They've fit right in, worked hard every session, and have been a pleasure to coach.

This week was a big one as they geared up and faced the hard ball for the very first time. Seeing the confidence grow with every delivery was awesome.

Lots to learn, lots of work ahead, but this is a great start. Looking forward to seeing how far this group can go. 🏏💙

No parents to hold their hand.

Just a group of young kids, trusted to make their own decisions, solve their own problems, and stand by one another.

As coaches, our job isn't to have all the answers forever. It's to know when to step aside and trust the lessons we've worked so hard to teach.

Today, our captain Mahin reminded us that leadership isn't about being the loudest voice. It's about taking responsibility, lifting your teammates, and putting the team before yourself.

The scoreboard will fade. The wins and losses will be forgotten.

But the confidence they build, the courage to lead, and the friendships they forge in moments like these will stay with them long after the final ball is bowled.

This is bigger than cricket.

This is how young leaders are made. ❤️🏏

More than just a jersey. ❤️🏏

Tonight was a special one as our young cricketers received their jerseys from the people who have supported them every step of the way — their parents.

Behind every player is a family making sacrifices, driving to practices, cheering from the sidelines, and believing in their dreams. Seeing the jerseys handed over by parents made the moment even more meaningful.

The teams are lining up nicely, and the excitement is building. With the finishing touches to the draft set to be completed next week, NYCPL 2026 is starting to take shape.

A special night, a proud moment, and just the beginning of an unforgettable summer.

History has been made as the inaugural Niagara Youth Cricket Premier League Draft officially got underway!

After an exciting night of selections, team strategies, and jersey reveals, the first-round squads have been assembled.

The foundation has been laid, rivalries have been born, and the countdown to opening day begins!

The scoreboard won't remember the courage it took to walk back out for another game under the blazing Oakville sun.

It won't remember the tired legs chasing every ball, the smiles that never disappeared, or the teammates cheering each other on when things weren't going our way.

Two tough losses. But if you watched closely, you saw something far more important than runs and wickets. You saw growth. You saw resilience. You saw a group of young cricketers refusing to give up.

As coaches and parents, we couldn't be prouder. The wins will come. For now, we're celebrating the effort, the fight, and the heart these little ones continue to show every single time they step onto the field.

Keep believing, kids. Your story is only just beginning. 💙🏏
